Truly the best chickpeas I’ve ever had - my partner who doesn’t like pulses couldn’t get enough. The saag paneer and methi chicken we also excellent. It’s open late and very friendly, so great for an impromptu dinner out. Quantities are generous. And despite its success, you can tell that Lahore One continues to makes cooking great food a priority.

What a place! We stopped by for a dinner and apart from being tiny bit spicy (but that’s not a surprise), it was all so very tasty! The naan bread, the chicken meals, kebab, all was super tasty and very cheap! Very recommended!

That's the kind of place, where you want to spend your evening. Food is amazing, the stuff really friendly and honest and the music is the cherry on the cake.

Went for it thinking it'll be a complete pakistani restaurant but they serve Indian Pakistani and banhaladeshi food. Had Methi Chicken and thr lamb. These were delicious. As a person who doesn't eat too much chicken this was delicious. Potions are really good. Fills you up for sure. For desserts we had Kheer. It was my first time and that was delicious as well. Prices are also really good and affordable.

Booked a table reservation for 6 people. Our family have been coming to Lahore One sporadically for over 35 years. Lahore One specialises in a few dishes, which is worth the travel and time for; Channa, Chicken Karahi, Kebabs and my favourite Asian dessert, Kheer - which is a rice pudding. We reserved in advance, as this place can get busy on weekends. Its casual, cafe like style is very low key and just offers good food. Don’t expect the service to be of Michelin level, but it is polite enough. You can bring your own alcohol, which is a nice touch. The menu is concise and doesn’t have the usual items you’ll see in other Indian/Pakistani restaurants, so be warned. The restaurant is fairly clean and comfortable but advise not to sit next to the bathroom upstairs. I recommend the dishes listed above and it is worth a trip.

One of our go-to indian takeaway, we definitely need to try to eat there next time. The food is fresh and spicy, really feels homemade (very oily though). We had the saag gosht lamb, saag aloo, karahi chicken and chana. All were excellent and i would have them again. Update: had dine in and it's still excellent Another update: another excellent meal at Lahore One tonight! Also tried the sheesh kebabs and the kheer for dessert, all 5/5

Exceptionally consistent (we go every week), great value for money, and service with a smile. If you want a slice of the old East End start in the Hungerford Arms, next door and end here.
