Highly recommend this place for a party/private function. We held my daughter's birthday party here. The space was absolutely perfect - sandpit kept the young children entertained for hours and the food was excellent - amazing brownies, delicious sausage rolls and excellent wine. Martin made sure we had a great day and put up our decorations too. Everything was stress-free, from the planning to the day itself.
This is my favourite cafe in Blackheath. It's very baby feeding friendly and has a lovely safe play area for the toddler. Plenty of room for the buggy, no steps and has good baby changing facilities. Tasty grown up food, good selection of toddler snacks, nice ambience and always friendly service from Martin and the team.
I want to love the Blackheath Brockley Deli but I only like it. The sandpit and ship for kids to play in is an amazing feature in the Summer. If you are going mad looking after a small child, come here and enjoy your coffee as get some peace while they play. But regarding the coffee, is it me? I don't feel I get a consistent, third wave coffee here, and yet everything about the cafe says it should be.
is a great place in the summer to take young children to drink and/or eat. they have built a series of large sandpits which the children love with deckchairs to sit and watch over them.........

Always nice to wait there with with a nice expresso and a lovely pastry, while our son is having his music lesson!
Great value for money, good to just chill out before and after the busy day. cool place to catch up with mates.
