What a hidden gem this is! 70p samosas are literally the best I’ve ever had. I keep some back for them 😄 the sweets are lovely as well!

I had been recommended the mava penda by an aunt. I finally managed to visit the shop after many attempts as it's closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Nalinbhai, the owner, was so friendly and let me try various Indian sweets and savouries. I didn't like everything, but the penda didn't disappoint. I also bought the fig, mango and coconut bharfis, which were all delicious.

I've bought sweets (Barfi) from this shop since the mid 90's. The owners are lovely and very engaging people. I've tried other sweetshops but I've never found any that sell sweets of such quality.
