Rose – It’s one of top three –Four Reastro I frequently visited when in London for Best of Indian Food with Quality
Location – Opp. Kingsburry Station Jubilee Line , near to Wembley
One of best thing is the Menu and Options are so Large that in India as well most of the Reastro don’t have .
The Owner is uncle with white hairs settled in London , but I found the difference between similar Place in india vs London is they are more Rigid, More Professional in Talking ..
Cost side ..it obviously in POUND -1 Pound = 100 INR – I should not write this … so that Enjoyment of food is not gone ..
Top Fav Item- KURKURI BHINDI – it’s one of best starter they prepare . The Quality taste is soo good that you will not found even in india as well .. Bhindi with Light besan – Fried + Chat masala
Raita of London is different from India so not that great as expected
Palak Chat is very well Prepared … Quantity of every second item is sufficient for Two
Palak panner HANDI DAAL Dal Makhni are Very nice with desi authentic taste
Bajri ka rootla – Chapati – tawa paratha are also Good Quality –must try options
Here You can find Mostly Settled Gujrati People and Food Lovers .. Infra is ok , but cost is on little higher side
Overall : Satisfaction of Indian Food – Good taste – Must Visit place if you are tired of Videshi Maide wala khana and Frozen ..
If you are at Rose , You Should try PAN Shop next to it as well …where you can find lots of Unique Stuff(visit for Desi mahual and Surprizes)
Curries simply amazing. Chinese exquisite.dosas also very nice. They make their own paneer !! I was impressed. (best food in town) I think they have around 8 chefs in the kitchen!!!
Nice Indian Food. A lot of variety as well. People craving for good mumbai street food should visit this place. Reasonably priced. Portions are good. Service is a bit slow, but they serve it hot. If i managed to come to london again, will visit this restaurant again.
Good Food Affordable Price. Extensive Menu, Good Chaats Vegan friendly
Excellent Indian Food. Rose is an ideal place for vegetarian indian food. Food was really nice with quite a big portions. Not that costly as well. I will strongly recomment. Especially Masala Pav.
Lacto-vegetarian, vegan and Jain delights!!
I live waaaay on the other side of London but I make a point of catching the Jubilee Line to Kingsbury just so I can eat here!
The food is strictly lacto-vegetarian, vegan and Jain and the menu is so thick that you need to get there half an hour early because us vegetarians are really not used to so much choice. It is in two parts, Indian / Asian at the front and Chinese at the back and it is very affordable.
The lunchtime eat-as-much-as-you-can buffet is great value for money (£6.99), but is a little limited. The buffet today had green salad, raita, Manchurian soup, boiled rice, vegetable fried rice, a mild curry of aubergines & potatoes, Chana Masala, daal with kidney beans, naan bread and poppadoms with Gulan Jamun for dessert.
They are very generous with jugs of water for cooling the taste buds too.
It is a family run business and the family always make you feel most welcome.
Their bathroom facilities are nice and clean and I would have given them a 5 if the buffet had a little more selection.
Turn right out of Kingsbury Underground Station. cross the road and it is on the 2nd corner (past the egg-free confectioner!!).
Oh, and if you need more info their website is comprehensive and includes prices.
This is a small restaurant on Kingsbury Road, having Pure veg and authentic Indian food.
In the last couple of months in London, I was a regular here.
This was a great little restaurant. I was a great fan of their Paranthas ( Aloo, Cheese and Paneer)
Yes, the frustrating part, there were instances when I had to wait for more almost 40-45 mins to get my takeway. I remember walking away once to go and eat at Unique Kebabs, just a short walk away.
They also had this buffet, which I tried a couple of times, Absolutely fantastic. reminded me of home.
They also had this small box of takeaway lunches for £2.50 ( in 2010, when I was in London) which was nice. If I am not mistaken it had a Naan, rice, a vegetable or 2 and Yogurt.
Chinese not recommended.
Totally recommended for Authentic Indian food lovers!
Nice tasty food. Loved the chole bhature and tofu curry. Service is quick but can get a little busier than usual on weekends. They don't take table bookings so you may have to wait like 10 or 15 minutes and it will be a little noisy inside. Food came out nice and hot and wasn't overly spicy. Some items needed more seasoning but there's salt and pepper on the table so you can add as per your taste. Overall it was a decent vegetarian Indian lunch.
Wonderful place to have Indian food! Owner and staff was very friendly and helpful if you are visiting first time. They made us feel like we were having food at home. Ambiance was really nice with good decorations and lighting. Food was really tasty and delicious. Quantity was very good too! All in all a must try indian restaurant 😊
Excellent vegetarian food. Lots of variety and every dish we ordered were nicely done. Excellent customer service - we were asked at least thrice by different people, including the owner himself, if everything was ok at our table. The owner is extremely warm and humble and doesn't shy away from working alongside his team to clear the tables or take any negative feedback and try to work on it. No wonder the restaurant has a long waiting.
Beautiful ambiance, very nice food menu , only bar services is disappointed as no printed menu available btl beer 5 Pound is too costly for location, no deal for lunch for beer or wine or food available..
Want to have Indian food but disappointed had 1 beer and move nearby pub where draft beer served 2.35 pound and pizza with beer 9 pound...if have bar please have menu and price and deal for day time to move more for your profit.
Best veg Indian. We have been going there for years. It never disappoints and we dont bother going anywhere else anymore.. The taste and freshness of the food is authentic and amazing. Friendly, knowledge staff. Portions big, always enough for my next day lunch too.
Best vegetarian curry dishes( separate deep dish with curry not in picture ), fresh bread, generous portions, fast and friendly, and they give complimentary water, I wish I could come more often
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing Indian dishes and service. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The first bite of food really took me back to my home.
Tasty food, buzzing atmosphere, excellent service, great price. Eat and order from here regularly. The service both in-house and ordering out is very efficient.
I'd highly recommend the paneer chili. Also, it the great that they will adjust flavors (i.e. how spicy it is!) when asked.
Wow, this place is absolutely amazing!! It was one of the best Indian meals I ever had for sure!! Wow, if it was closer to my house, I would go there once a week minimum. I love it, and I will go back for sure!!
Good portion size. Price not bad. Staff try hard. Weekend is no no due to long waiting time for both to be seated or service due to being extremely busy.
Amazing food and very good service. The manager was very helpful. While we were waiting for the table, he got papad for my hungry child. All the food was very tasty. The portion size is massive. I would love to visit again.
When the food tastes good, the portion sizes are massive, and the service is quick and friendly - what's not to like? Now if I tell you that prices will make you go for an extra dish and even tempt you to get an extra takeaway - how can not love this place? The paav bhaji was delicious, the rotla was fresh and flavoursome, the Chinese touch had the spike, and panner was roasted to perfection. A delicious meal indeed!
Once we seat at our table theater 5 minutes staff says we need this table so you have wait 30 minutes when your turn come we have offer you table.
Then we have seat at our table more then 10 minutes no one give us menu.
After more then 10 minutes we have got the menu.
Then no one came for taking order.
After order more delay to serve us,once we order our main course there After we have give him advance order for roti but roti comes after our subjy chill.
Not good service.
When rajubhai not in restaurant.
No one care of customers.
A family visit made memorable. Would highly recommend. Accommodating staff, went in with a pram, were very helpful but most of all, the food is delicious
Excellent service, highly recommend it to friends and family, reasonable prices, clean environment, received very good service from staff being so helpful with kids. We went often after pandemic so really like the way they provide separate water bottles and takeaway bags. Really impressed with patience in service. Will visit often as it's very convenient on working days.
Food, Service and Prices really good. Menu had a good selection of dishes. Portions very generous
