Best Taste

I've had vegetable and also beef patties, a chicken soup and also a curry from this place and the food was just like in Jamaica - only thing missing was the Caribbean sunshine outside. Rich patty filling with a lot of flavour - not greasy at all - and that amazing yellow flaky pastry which just makes it. I shouldn't have started writing this review because now I'm hungry for patties! :D

We were tempted in by the smiling owners, offering a copy of the menu. Once inside we were interested by the various fried dumplings / festival, and a main of jerk chicken, rice and peas plus coleslaw. The chicken was delicious - just the right amount of spice, and tender - the homemade coleslaw side added a tasty cooling element. The rum cake is clearly home made, and the Guinness punch was a hit! The whole meal was very good value for money. We will definitely be going back.

Very tasty and quick service. I ordered a small Jerk chicken (which came with rice and peas) and plantains. Super delicious - wasn’t super spicy either - good portion size and great value for money. The member of staff also seemed really friendly. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, is because I saw him put my meal in the microwave. Saying that, I was 10mins late to collect the order so it’s not completely his fault, bless him. Food was also packaged well. Would recommend :)
