I’m in awe. Stumbled upon this place on a late evening last week, beautiful people, beautiful oriental food, fantastic vibes. Guinness around £4. I’ll see you next week!

🚇 Nine Elms 🍺 £4.25 Fosters ❤️ An important community hub. . The Nott is located on busy Wandsworth Road in SW8. The nearest tube is Nine Elms which is just a couple of minutes walk away. . The Nott formerly The Nottingham Castle was built late 19th century. This three storey pub has been altered somewhat and looks like it has seen better days. . This is a large one bar pub with unique decor which was a bit of an eye opener. The walls are painted salmon pink and cream with a wood floor running throughout, the servery is a good size and runs the length of the bar. There is plenty of low level seating, the tables and chairs looked like they were from outside an ice cream parlour in Margate circa 1980. At the back of the bar is a raised area with pool table and dart board, around the walls are a few screens showing live sport. . The beer line up was a simple selection of keg stalwarts. I decided on a pint of Fosters, Fosters isn’t a favourite of mine but my pint was well kept and cost just over four quid. There is Chinese food available which can be either eaten in or for take away, i’ve seen Thai food available in many pubs, Chinese in a pub is a new one for me, great idea! . I visited with my brother and nephew and we arrived just before opening. There were a group of old boys waiting outside having a natter and were eager to get in and have their first pint. The doors opened and in we went, one of the old boys drove his scooter in and parked it in the corner to charge it up and then proceeded to the bar. We took a seat at the front of the bar to take stock of our surroundings and watch the footy. . As I gazed around the pub there were a few groups and few solitary drinkers but one thing was very clear to me, this pub is a very important place to the locals that drink here. There is a real community spirit and this pub plays a big part in the lives of its punters. . Visiting The Nott was an enjoyable if not unique experience. I hope this pub is around for many years to come and wish them all the best. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 28.01.23

The Chinese is quick and tasty. The Guinness is well poured and allowed to settle. There is a pool table as well as a dart board. Not often used so can get a game if and when you would like to.

Absolutely beautiful pub, with a built in Chinese restaurant that serves delicious top class freshly cooked food to eat in or take away. The staff are very friendly & real welcoming too, I would highly recommend this place as the food & drinks are a very reasonable price also. 👌 been here a good few times & will certainly be coming back again. 😀

A gem in Zone 1, a proper old school pub with beers at sensible prices and incredibly cheap and delicious Chinese food. Given how most pubs in the area have become essentially posh restaurants, this place is a welcome change.

The Nott is a hidden gem. Amazing Chinese restaurant nestled in a fantastic establishment, serving cold drinks and providing entertainment throughout the week. A great place to watch the football whilst enjoying a drink with the friendly staff. A must visit in SW London.
