We’re not talking artisanal fare, but frankly sometimes you just need basic, but decent grub. A great breakfast stop off after a long morning dog walk, or an ice cream after a ramble through the woods. Gets very busy at peak times.
Friendly staff, wait for food isn’t too long even in busy times. Toilets are clean and functional. Plenty of sheltered outdoor seating perfect for summer. Came back here for the first time in a couple of years. Lovely little cafe serving great, homemade food and drinks. Disappointing that they're not serving a full menu at the moment - their avocado and prawn salad is a treat but sadly not available - but my choice of homemade chilli nachos went down
I came with my nephew who having abit of a meltdown the owner came out and offered a free piece of cake which we we're really grateful for the kind gesture. Thank you so much would recommend!

Lovely tea rooms that do a roaring trade all year round. Everything from a full breakfast through sandwiches and jacket potatoes, to home made cakes and an ice-cream counter.

Excellent place to stop for a cuppa and cake. Also do great breakfast. Haven't had lunch there.
