The quality of food and service is simply unparalleled and Spring Way (Brixton Rd) is probably the best Chinese Takeaway in London. I haven't found other Chinese restaurants in UK where the food is always super fresh, flavorful and full of good ingredients such as shrimp, chicken and fresh veg. The standard is so good ordering from other places has only been disappointing. Staff here help even if you, as the customer, give them incomplete instructions. The staff are super friendly and full of good conversation while you wait for your food to arrive (piping hot), if you drop into pick up your order. Driver is always very attentive if you have it delivered. Simply put you can't go wrong with Spring Way, promise.

Plenty of tasty food on their menu. I would personally recommend the spare ribs, but it can be a bit too little meat on the bone. In addition to crispy aromatic duck is also a good stater that is tasty and there is enough meat on the bones! The set menu should offer three different options, unfortunately it doesn't complement each other too well but separately, they are tasty.

Popped in here during lockdown to collect a take away - cash only - and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had vegetarian spring rolls, vegetarian gyoza, egg fried rice, tofu in black bean sauce and roast duck in Oyster sauce. All of it was yummy and quality not just lots of onions peppers and bean shoots. The menu says Under New Management so that might explain previous less positive reviews

I'm surprised by the reviews I've read as I am quite a fussy eater in terms of quality and I haven't experienced anything bad from this chinese takeaway & I have ordered food from here many a time. I order things such as various spring rolls, dim sum, chow mein, rice, prawn crackers and soups which could maybe be slightly better but are in no way bad & for the rest it was all great tasting and not greasy.
