Nicely seated after a walk in Hyde Park. I like places like this. very good coffee and quality food. Staff a bit rushed. I paid for a large coffee but got a small one. That can happen, but... I could have a smoke here in peace.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Lodge Cafe, located just outside Hyde Park Corner Tube station in London, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm welcome and the staff's friendly demeanor made me feel right at home.
The service at The Lodge Cafe was truly amazing. The staff members went above and beyond to ensure that every customer was attended to with care and efficiency. Their attentiveness and willingness to accommodate specific requests made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Speaking of the food, I was blown away by the quality and taste of the cuisine. It was evident that everything was prepared with great skill and attention to detail. The fact that all the dishes, including the breads and fresh juices, were cooked in-house speaks volumes about the dedication and passion of the chefs. I highly recommend trying their Hot Chocolate, as well as their delectable Pizzas. Both were absolutely mouthwatering and left me craving for more.
Beyond the scrumptious meals, The Lodge Cafe offers a small bar area where one can relax and unwind with friends. The selection of lagers and cocktails was impressive, and the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. It was the perfect spot to kick back, enjoy a drink, and engage in lively conversations.
I cannot praise the owners of The Lodge Cafe enough. Their warm and welcoming nature adds an extra layer of charm to the place. They genuinely care about their customers and take the time to engage in conversations, making you feel like part of their extended family. Their presence adds a personal touch and creates a welcoming ambiance that is hard to find elsewhere.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Lodge Cafe to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience near Hyde Park. The combination of amazing service, mouthwatering food, and a cozy bar atmosphere make it a truly memorable destination. Whether you're a local or a visitor to London, this charming cafe is a must-visit.
Lovely place right next to The Hyde Park! So happy to grab a Mulled Wine 🍷 + Mince Pie 🥧 and a pastry to warm me up before the walk in the park. There are outdoor seatings and the view is good next to the park! We went around the time when the Sun was setting, so the light rays were beautiful 😊
There are also bathrooms here if anyone needs it before they walk into the park with a cute signage.
Lovely little stop for coffee on our walk across London
Grabbed a pastel de natas too and it was absolutely delicious failed to resist before getting a photograph!
It is quite busy and because it is a small venue it can be a bit cramped, the outdoor seating is stunning on a day like today a crisp autumn one, but imagine this is a no go in the rain
Thank you, Parth, for the incredible service. Lovely beer and an amazing atmosphere. Party's exquisite conversation skills made the experience very enjoyable and definitely had me staying longer. Will come back again.
Girls at the counter were super nice to my boyfriend and I. They forgot my iced americano but were very apologetic on a reminder and got it straight to us. Good drink but very expensive - such is Central London. It’s a bit cramped inside and too noisy and crowded in their outdoor seating area but that shows its popularity. Useful location right by the park entrance. Probably wouldn’t seek it out again due to the prices but would recommend in emergencies!
Nice café. Deceivingly big inside with seating upstairs inside and extensive seating outside. Prices are fair. Coffee is quality with service to match. Cakes and pastries and other take away treats look good, I have yet to try. Basement kitchen serves decent hot food favourites menu daily. Will return and recommend.
Having trundled past here on numerous occasions, body swerving around like-minded travellers avoiding ferrel Santander bikers on the daily commute to work, I thought I'd take a weight off , and venture 'off the beaten path' and into the Alice in Wonderlandish world of a tiny coffee shop....this one hidden in the corner of Hyde Park.
What better way to rest those wary legs than I nice cuppa on the way home? I thought...
And it does look nice.
Accepting that I arrived just prior to closing, I was only 'marginally' disgruntled by the apparent apathy to take half my children's inheritance for a coffee in a paper cup, and inwardly shuddered over the deep sighs directed towards the poor fellow who subsequently ordered after me.....I'm sure he loved his hot chocolate too... although I'm not sure if there was room for both of us on the naughty step.
The coffee was, however very tasty and the seating outside was very pleasant. In support of the three stars for service, the other staff were very friendly and polite.... whilst locking up around me. .. obviously.
Overall. Give it a go. Four stars from me. It's a very nice place for a coffee and probably even nicer for a nice overpriced slice of pizza.
Just don't turn up ten minutes before closing!
Amazing place. Should go here for a coffee and also try veggie soup it’s very nice and filling. Yummy muffins as well.
Had a English breakfast here for 2 days now! I really enjoyed it, I can't have certain vegetables, but they changed it for more egg and sausage/bacon without effort! And above all, it was really delicious!
