Good food and they are doing the full menu with some new dishes. Quick service and tasty food and if you can get a seat outside you get a nice view of St Paul's and people watching whilst enjoying a cold TsingTao.
Busy spot for lunch, recommend getting in before midday. Service was fast. Food and prices were on point.
I don't know a better place in London with Japanese tasty and cheap food. Everyone who is a true fun of Japanese food must try this place and the Korean friend chicken they offer (bottom of the picture). The other dish is katsu curry which is equally outstanding. The prices range from £5/6 to £8 max

These guys are the living manifestation of fast (good) food. The plates we ordered were ready in less than 5 minutes and the food was delicious. Great Korean fried chicken, highly recommended

Great place to grab a quick & tasty bite for lunch. Not an upmarket place but persistently good quality food. You order at the till and if you eat-in, you get a little buzzer that’ll tell you when your order is ready for pickup. There’s some good outdoor seating in the summer, too.
Always really busy here but definately worth the wait. Last time had some chicken katsu and this time Korean Fried Chicken, was delicious!!

Decent food and reasonably priced being in the city of London. I chose the Korean fired chicken with rice. It was spicy and had a real kick of flavour. I love Japanese Canteen. I pop in for lunch most days. Beef Dan Dan and Korean Fried Tofu (v) are super tasty! I'm addicted :) Rasa and the team at Watling street are so friendly too...service is 5 star. Highly recommend.
Great food @thejapanesecanteen must try out but remember packed at lunch its that good.
