How much do I love Oki?
I was working in Wimbledon in August and after trying it the first week I went there every week for lunch. Sometimes twice. The food is really delicious and reasonably priced for the area. It's quick and unpretentious. But it really is all about the food. A good mix of freshly prepared sushi, sashimi, bento and noodle dishes and their prawn tempura is to die for. Seriously, if I could get a delivery from them now I'm not working in Wimbledon they'd be on my speed dial.
If you like Japanese food then do yourself a favour and visit when you're in this part of town...

It looks like it might just be a sushi takeout, but grab a table in this Wimbledon sushi place for some excellent maki. If you order one thing, make sure it's the Dynamtie Maki, perfectly crsipy and spiced rolls. We ordered a TONNE of food and not one thing was a dud. The only downside really was the long wait for food, so make an evening of it and settle in.

Love this little place! I've only been a few times with friends but each time I visit I love it! The food is delicious and very well priced. I would easily say its the best Japanese restaurant in the area.

Wimbledon desperately needed some Korean food and I was so excited when Oki opened in the neighbourhood last year. The menu is large and includes a variety of popular Japanese and Korean dishes along with daily bento specials.

I go to Oki mainly to satisfy my spicy Korean bibimbap cravings. I highly recommend the Dolsot Bibimbap with extra spicy sauce - it is fabulous.

I've had the sushi there as well and it's nothing to rave about but is fresh and does the job.

The service at Oki leaves a lot to be desired. It has always been poor as there is usually only one server managing the entire floor causing unnecessary waits and delays.

The food is great though, especially the Korean menu!

Food is actually fab. Poke bowls are delightful, full of flavour, great portions, fresh ingredients. I can see why people still come here despite the service. Sushi is just good. Like many others have said and I echo this, service service is non existent. No eye contact and things are almost chucked into your hand. However I still come back for poke bowls with my low expectations on this place for customer service 😅

A small takeaway in Wimbledon with affordable price and good food. The shop is small, which makes it more a takeaway than a restaurant. However, it have a small sitting area inside (4 seats over the front windows) and 2 tables outside. The ordering process consists of choosing between rice or noodles and a protein that is displayed on the counter (katsu chicken, sweet chilli chicken, etc). Moreover, it is possible to choose up to two proteins for an extra price which will not add extra protein, just a little bit of each choice. The service is poor. The lady at the counter always looks stressed, at least during my visits. So do not expect greetings at the begging or gratitude at the end. At the time of placing my orders I felt like there was no interest on taking it. The tables have been dirty during my visits on a non busy period. The food is reasonably good for the price. On my experience, I would recommend to avoid the place during peak times (lunch specially) as they reduce the amount of protein served.

I got a takeaway , Salmon & Sushi was fresh and flavourful, loved it. Seafood noodle soup was bursting with flavours. Also an offer of free Veg spring roles (Which wre great)with payment offer. Overall nice delicious food, next to Tesco it right on main street with some high Chairs indoor and few outdoor seating. Like it as a takeaway place

Had a delivery from here for lunch. Food was tasty, seemed freshly cooked and arrived quickly. Bento box had a good variety in it and was a generous size.

Don’t understand some of the negative reviews about this restaurant. Yes, service wasn’t 5 star but it was good, what really blew my mind is food. One of the best and fresh chicken Katsu curries I have had in a very long time & veg spring rolls were amazing…. 5 stars from me 😊👍.

The chicken katsu curry bowl was fabulous. Assembled quickly right in front of me. The chicken was crispy and the sauce was really good. It says its spicy but for a person who can't eat spicy i didn't find it that way.

Quick service, well portioned and lovely hot tasting food. Made for on the go and great comfort food. Though we didn't try the sushi it has a nice collection of poke bowls too. Highly recommend ☺️

Decent place to eat, one of the better Asian fusion places in Wimbledon - they do more than just Japanese food...tasty and affordable, try their lunchtime specials where you could get lunch for well under a tenner. I had their excellent chicken fried noodles. My dining companion tried their seafood udon which was superb!

I work in Wimbledon, and I now come here everyday! The food is always 10/10 and really generous with portions. Some people like quality, some people like quantity. With Oki sushi, you get the best of both worlds! Would definitely recommend! 😁

What kind of grab & go lunch you like the most? After a meeting in Wimbledon, I needed to rush back to central London for the next appointment. Oki Sushi was just located in front of Wimbledon station. So I got a quick grab & go lunch before getting on the train. OKI Sushi 📍 10 The Broadway, London SW19 1RF WHAT I GOT 🥟Vegetable Gyozas 🥟Chicken Gyozas In the chilled food counter, they had various sushi bento, gyozas and drinks. Of course, I chose my fav gyozas for my lunch. They also served hot foods including chicken Katsu curry, udon and ramen. The service was quick and the staffs were nice. Some Japanese restaurant chains were just around this shop but many customers popped in this shop during lunch time. I would love to try their hot food next time in Wimbledon. How’s the gyozas? See my next post on Instagram @ccgyozalover for the details 🤗
