Tinseltown - Gt Portland St

Cute diner with tasty milkshakes. They have a large menu but we just ordered shakes. We had an ambassador and a biscoff cookie one. They were very good and a good quantity. There was a bit of a wait to be asked what we wanted and then receive the shakes as they were pretty busy, but it was ok. There was unfortunately no wifi here.

The restaurant is tucked away in the sense I almost missed the restaurant. I arrived at around 1:15 so just around lunch, the place had a decent amount of customers. We were attended to immediately, the table are slightly uncomfortable and the layout is a bit 'roomy'. I did go downstairs to the washroom and it was quite unpleasant. It was messy and I just wanted to leave quickly. FOOD First I ordered nachos which was nice and the portion is for 2-3 people, they no longer serve the chilli nachos which was not apparent on their website. Then I had honey chicken strips which were AMAZING. The chicken was crispy and tender and it had just enough sweetness from the honey. I then ordered a cajun beef burger and fries. The burger was pretty good, the beef was seasoned well and juicy. The chips were ok they needed more seasoning. The portions are quite nice and I opted out of dessert.

The vibe is really close knit and cute. The decorations of celebs on the wall are fun to look at and apparently are photos of celebs who have visited the restaurant, but I'm not sure I believe that. I had a chicken waffle sandwich, which as weird as it sounds was good. With that in mind, I can't imagine how nice their other big selection of foods taste. Great experience. Would recommend. And it's halal.

If you are into fast food then this is the place for you. Plenty of options with fair prices. My favourite on the menu is the Cajun chicken burger and strips. U can’t go wrong with this option and its always cooked to perfection. Waiting times are anywhere between 10-15mins depending on how busy the place is. Milkshakes are really good and filling as well with a variety of flavours to choose from. Average price per head comes to 12 pounds per person including drinks. The service has always been good however they can improve on their waiting times. I am yet to explore the rest of their menu however thats my recommendation. Overall a good experience and if you’re in the area then definitely give this place a go.

Very nice American style restaurant, the main positive thing is that it’s all Halal I have ordered the double patty with cheese , beef bacon ( Double Don Beef) and I added an extra chicken patty . The food processing time was ok , it wasn’t very busy at this time , although previously I remember waiting more than one hour to go in. This is my sandwich and the bill I gave 4/5 because the toilets are not clean(for the 4-5th time), so for a busy place I think more money should be invested in upgrading /regular cleaning of the toilets

New menu and the food is really rustic and tasty. This is a good and delightful step that they have made. They have lived up to their name and ensure this that I will be visiting here again in the future. A quick side note on criticism, the sizing of the food has gone down a bit such as the burger and portion size and the prices have gone up a few pounds but nevertheless it is an improvement and their previous options

I had a really nice meal here when I stayed in London last time. The milkshakes are absolutely Devine and are reasonably priced too I also had nachos to start followed by a garlic chicken burger which comes with free separate fries and a free sauce which also tasted amazing, and the fries were crispy and cooked perfectly and it was an ample size portion for one person. This diner is a great place to go it's friendly and good for families and very reasonably priced.
