Arranged for refreshments here for about thirty people after our aunts funeral, as we were not local all was discussed by FB Messanger. Thank you Natasha and team, the spread was excellant and everyone said how good it was and exactly what I'd asked for. An extra bonus was the warming fire as it was such a wet and miserable day.

The food is superb especially the homemade burgers huge recommendations. The wide range of drinks will happily quench your thirst and to top it all of an outside garden with a bar and barbeque with plenty of tv's for the world cup. Big recommendation.

Near to my office. Me and my colleagues went their for Friday drinks. The drinks was not expensive affordable and the food was cheap as compared to other places and good quantity. We are happy with the music all the time playing in the pub. Staff was friendly and fast service. No complains Toilets are scary less light inside it. They have good food options.

The North Star was a great little find, though the toilets were a bit grimy. The guy who served me was really helpful. I stopped by for a quick pint while I did a bit of work, waiting for a friend. Food menus looked good, with lots of options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free. The beer was super cheap: £5.60 for a pint and a packet of crisps.

Lovely pub, I enjoyed my visit a lot and will come again when the opportunity arises. I came here because I was staying at an inn nearby and saw a signboard for a lunch promotion for 5£ (if I recall correctly). I dropped by at around midday and ordered some pasta arrabiatta. Service was quick and people were friendly, food was good. I stayed here for about an hour and had a great time. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to watch sports, have a drink and or enjoy a meal.

Only had a couple of drinks here as a meet up place. Drinks were good and good selection of beers. Service was friendly and helpful friends have told me the food is good in here but can't give a personal recommendation as I haven't tried myself. Only negative was rugby on the TV's scattered about the place probably good place to watch sport if they're showing an event you're interested in. This pub will do well as no real opposition nearby and quite a schlep to any of a similar standard. Overall an enjoyable experience. Would recommend for a few light refreshments.

Been living here a year I’m a teacher up the road … what can I say but best pub in London. Food great burgers made fresh so yes it takes time but worth it. Must recommend the ham egg and chips ( order it and see 😀) Great atmosphere always made feel welcome. Come in have a pint enjoy yourself 👍

Stopped in with wife and friends on the way to Wembley for a couple of drinks and something to eat. Staff were very friendly and had a pleasant chat with the landlord and landlady (once he was allowed to stop painting 🤣). The food was really good, I can recommend the boar burger and chips, very tasty. Decent selection of drinks and the prices were reasonable. Thank you. We will definitely go back again when up that way.

Great location and happily noticed they have terrace. The food is average, but match with the price of it. Cleanliness has a room to improve. Cutleries were a bit nasty.

Sports bar, wooden tables and chairs, excellent range of beers, lagers, and wine. A little understaffed at times, busy for ssports, young crowd, efficient staff, food acceptable, with daily specials, excellent garden, roomy relaxed atmosphere.

Nice traditional pub alongside a busy main road Not many people in during the bank holiday afternoon, one group of people and a few people sat alone watching the playoff final.I didn’t go in the beer garden so can’t comment on that but in my opinion it’s a good place apart from the three bar staff appearing to be totally uninterested in serving, one too busy wandering around in a vest and another in skimpy shorts looking important because she had a two way radio and leaving all the serving to the long haired lad who huffed every time someone went to the bar.I’ll visit again especially as they served Guinness unlike the Cottage and also it was brighter than inside the cottage and I didn’t have to feel my way along the wall to get to the bar A bit of a smarter appearance and more welcoming attitude from the bar workers and it’ll be a five star from me next time I’m in Norf Landen I can now assure the owners of this lovely traditional pub that thanks to the lovely girls (one in a red top the other in a black top) behind the bar during the women’s cup final I can give your pub the five stars it deserves

Old fashioned traditional English pub on the Finchley Road. Very few such establishments now exist in this area. Reasonable selection of real ale beers in conjunction with lagers and Guinness. Friendly staff and good service with plenty of staff serving the wait is minimal. Did not eat but menu available with main meals and gastro pub options (see copy menus) at reasonable prices.

Lovely welcoming pub, food very good, prices good but staff are the main reason for this review. They could not have been nicer x oh and a very good place to watch nufc against Bournemouth last night. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely come back when we next visit London.

Decent atmosphere, lovely selection of beer. Bartender wasn't the nicest, either then that can't complain. Updated. Contacted the number provided. Lady that picked up was extremely nice and promised to talk with the bartender and sort it out. Raising the stars from 4 to 5 just for that!

The North Star is the nuts. Honestly no better Gaff to watch the England Games. Brilliant atmosphere. Also a great traditional feel to this Pub, which enhances the experience. Pints are crisp and the bar staff are great too. I'll be there tonight for the England and can't wait. Been dreaming of the North Star since the Euros. "Were the downstairs" !!
