Went for lunch yesterday using a voucher. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Had a lovely hummus wrap and two great cakes - Black Forest and cheesecake. The only disappointment was that the ‘croque madame’ looked a bit sad (v dry and limp as later in the day when we went) so perhaps the staff could check this before serving the ones clearly made early in the day and reheated. Otherwise very nice.

This place has come so far from the rude staff and tasteless coffee. I’ve come here quite a lot over the past couple of years and I’ve noticed recently all their old staff has gone and their coffee has improved massively. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They make the best mochas in my opinion :)

I have visited this place many times over the last few years. Upon entering I noticed that the two ladies who previously served customers were not present. I was informed by one of the staff that the place had a “revamp” and learned that staff had been removed permanently. I didn’t have an issue with them at all but I did feel sorry for them as they often appeared very frustrated and probably had to deal with more than their fair share of complaints. I’ve tried different cakes but my favourite is always the carrot cake. Despite always being cold and a little hard (possibly because it’s made much earlier in the day?), it’s richer in quality than the carrot cake served at other places. The total price (with the americano coffee) was £8.50.

My fiancé and I went here to get some cakes. We were 5 minutes to closing but thought we’d try our luck. Thankfully a wonderful manager named Chris was there (he doesn’t usually work there). He was sent from God! Genuinely the best customer service we’d ever experienced. I hope only good things for you Chris!

Went here today as a treat for my parents. I had given my Mum a voucher for afternoon tea. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We needed a vegetarian menu so the manager took back what he had to get us the vegetarian option, however he said we may as well have what they made as I ate meat anyway. All the staff I found were helpful and friendly, exactly what you need on such a miserable day.
