Rock Island Bar & Grill

Went for the first time yesterday for a birthday celebration as recommended by friends. This is to be my New favourite place to go. I can't believe the portion size, it's amazing. It's well seasoned, freshly cooked and very reasonable prices. The staff are just lovely. They really made it feel homely and welcoming. We had to 'big up' the chef. His food reminded me of my late grandmother's food - cooked with love and experience. The music is also really good and provides a great atmosphere. This place is like an unsung hero and sure to become extremely popular. I most certainly will be coming back here with friends and family. Tuesday's the cocktails are two for just a tenner. Where else can you get that in London? Amazing value amazing food and puddings are to die for. Also huge thanks to Chloe - such a lovely soul.
