23 Grosvenor Gardens

A very nice spot for an outdoor cocktail by the station. It's actually quite a nice relaxing ambience on the street. If you are at the right time for the 2 for £15 cocktail deal then it is really rather reasonable price wise. The drinks were nicely made and quite generous, they didn't taste especially watered down compared to some of the other bars in the area. We found the service especially friendly, very clear and helpful, and although it was fairly busy the service was fast. It all felt Covid safe as tables were being wiped and masks worn.

I was in London to celebrate Silvester 2015. The plan was to look where I randomly will end up after lots of sightseeing, and I ended up in 23 Grosvenor Gardens. At first I wasn't sure if I should enter there as its called a Wine Bar and I am not a wine drinker. But the nice atmosphere and the Staff made the decission very easy. Very nice location, absolutly awesome staff, nice other guests and nice meals make this bar worth a visit. I liked the relaxing music at modest volumes until the party startet :-) But also then it was mostly ok. But the Soundsystem needs an update to sound perfect at higher volumes. ;-) Altogher I feeled there very well (but totally exhausted after a whole day of sightseeing, too). Nice perk at the end: Just close before midnight Dan from the bar staff hurried through all visitor to spread indoor party fireworks and ended up only as he assured that everybody has at least one "Party Popper" to celebrate the new year! 5 stars from me, because I will definitly go there again when I am in London again.
