Awful experience. On the menu it said the price of a glass of wine was £7.95. I asked if they had rosé and the waitress didn’t understand so I just got red wine instead. My boyfriend got a bottle of Stella for £4.95 and my two friends got a pizza each. The pizza was disgusting and my friends couldn’t even eat it. The waitress kept walking around the restaurant staring at us while we had our drinks. When we went to the bar to pay they tried to charge us £20 for the wine and beer only. They claimed to have given us an old menu with different prices and that the real price of the wine was £9.95 not £7.95 as it appeared on the menu we were given. After refusing to pay such an extortionate price for the drinks the lady forced us to pay 15% extra for service charge. I explained that service charge is not compulsory in the UK especially if you judge the service to be poor but the waitress refused to listen when I told her I wanted to pay £12.9 which was the real cost of our order. The lady asked what our ages were after the meal and said we were young and stupid. She went as far as asking my boyfriend if we were married and tried to turn him against me by warning him of my attitude. I am surprised this business is still operating. Shocking behaviour, disrespectful staff and terrible food.

Very bad experience. It was our last dinner in London with my boyfriend and the waitress totally ruined the dinner. She reclaimed 3 pounds for the tip and gave to us a water in bottle at 2:50 pounds. She was very very rude and spoke to us in very bad ways. The food was not bad but it would be better to have a sandwiche. Do not go there, it's a restaurant that will close in three years if they do not change the staff. It is a pity because we saved money for the rest of the night and she totally took all our money of 6 pounds in extra.

This has got to be the worst restaurant I've ever been in in my 50 years! Very expensive for the quality the prices are a rip-off nearly £12 for one glass of house wine £4 extra four vegetables which are supposed to be included in the main course and an exorbitant service charge for really bad service! The rude waitress with greasy dyed black hair could not speak English or even Italian in this Italian restaurant and was in fact Polish. She was very pushy standing over us to make us eat faster bringing the bill even though we hadn't asked for it and were still drinking our wine even though she later seated another customer so she has obviously wasn't closing then!

Ordered take-away pizza, got home, had 1 bite and threw rest in bin. Apart from not having on it what i ordered and paid for, the cheese they used was cheddar not mozzarella 'WHAT ITALIAN PIZZA USES CHEDDAR CHEESE!'.The older lady who served seemed like she didn't want to be there, very surly. Avoid at all costs.

An important family meal for a special occasion we entered hoping for a good experience, however the food was incredibly salty and lacking any taste, ham was served in meals which had not been on the menu in turn affecting someone eating who was Muslim. The waitress bought the bill without being asked and while we were still in the middle of our meal, she then waited watching us eat for payment, this was so that both waitresses could leave for their lunch break at 2:30pm. The menus are dirty and the English medieval royal family pictures on the wall are odd, the owners own self portrait next to Henry VIII. I don't normally write negative reviews but had to for this one and only eating experience at Lorenzo's Restaurant. Avoid if you want good Italian food, truly shocking in the lack of quality and care for customers, it is clear they do the bare minimum to reach eating standards all round.

If I could give zero I would PLEASE read the reviews first. We didn’t fish and chips were a dismal offering with a side ordering of hair. It had been obviously refried the fish was grey and the batter very dark swimming in oil. The vegetarian pizza was passable if you like cucumber on top? Weird? 15% surcharge applied even after complaining they refused to do anything. A dirty place rude staff apart from an embarrassed young girl. TERRIBLE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Not forgetting it is DIRTY!

THE WORST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TOO! WAS COMPLETELY DISGUSTED. I ordered a spaghetti with tomato and seafood, but came to me in pure cheese, no seafood and absolutely disgusting!! And being a Muslim, I was shocked to find traces of ham in it! They lie about it being fresh, cause blood came oozing out of my friend's prawns!! Absolutely sicking!! My other friend ordered a well-done steak, but came back rare. The chips and pototos were greasy. They should be disgraced.. NEVER COME HERE!!!!!
