I had a delightful dining experience at Savanna Restaurant. The atmosphere was cosy, the service was impeccable, and the food was simply exquisite. From the starters to the dessert, every dish was a burst of flavour. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes – you won't be disappointed! Savanna Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable culinary adventure.

Lovely atmosphere, food was excellent. I would however improve customer service as it was quite a hectic environment trying to secure a table. We waited 5-10 minutes to at least be acknowledged when they were 3/4 servers available. Please improve this as was not ideal experience especially with a vulnerable guest who cannot stand that long.

Ordered the lamb shoulder with rice which came with some steamed veg and salad. The meat was cooked so delicately and was succulently soft - one thing I adore about Somali-cooked meat. Rice was flavourful and the sauces were powerful. It gets extremely busy but staff are friendly and accomodating and will squeeze you in no matter what. The decor and furniture could do with some freshening-up, otherwise it has a cosy and local feel to it.

First time visiting this restaurant and was impressed with the service, quality and taste of the food. Had the lamb shoulder which was cooked perfectly, with the meat just falling off the bone. The veg accompanying the meat was nicely done. Rice was done perfectly, and tasted great. Spice level was really mild, but they provided a chilli chutney/sauce which gave the dish a nice kick. Overall, glad I went and would definitely return in future.

WORST food EVER!!! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.....<br/><br/>I cant believe this place is even classified as a restaurant. Their chicken escalope smells like fish and their lamb shank tastes raw, with poaches of veins sticking out. Absolutely horrendous customer service, I asked for pasta with my lamb shank and ending up getting it 40 mins into my meal, I thought it was my dessert!!!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at at a restaurant! <br/>Firstly I must mention to you that my friends and I, we like trying new cuisines & flavours, I must also declare to you that we are neither difficult to please nor picky.<br/><br/>We decided to go to this restaurant as we wanted to eat traditional Somali cuisine ,however we were warned that there service leaves a lot to be desired,<br/><br/>It is located in main road, 105 Uxbridge Rd, London W12 8NL,It's very easy to find ,God forbid you come across it !<br/><br/><br/>We reached the place at about 19.30, and as we have made a reservation in advance we had no worries on waiting for free table. When you get in, there's a man (the boss I think) who helps you find your reserved table. He was very friendly but then he went away ,leaving us for more than half an hour before he came to take orders for the drinks!<br/><br/>We got the drinks but we waited for another one and a half hours before a young waitress came to take our orders !at this point we had given up and we were leaving ! <br/>We felt that we needed to tell them how horrible their service was and we spoke to Abdul who was the cashier.He was the most obnoxiously rude man I have ever met! He told us :<br/>1.No one has ever complained!<br/>2.they are busy and understaffed<br/>3.1hr 3O min is normal waiting period! <br/>4.they will always have customers anyway ! So he didn't care less!<br/>5.when I told him i will write a review he said none of customers read reviews anyway!(that should tell you the kind of people who go there!)<br/><br/>All in all we dint eat and to add insult to injury the staff was very unprofessional!(It's almost like we were in a kiosk in Mogadishu)<br/><br/>Don't waste your time just go next door to 288 Uxbridge Rd, London W12 7JA Idman Cafe & Restaurant and have a good Somali food.
