On Wednesday 26 th October I went on Susan Baker’s Great Fire of London walk. It was fabulous. I learnt things I didn’t know- Susan was clear and engaging and I found the walk really engaging. There were quite a few children on the walk with this week being half term and I was impressed with the way in which Susan included them and made the information accessible to them as well as to the adults- which is quite a skill! London Guided Walks is a great company and Susan an excellent guide.

We booked the Victorian Covent Garden on 21 October and we are so pleased we did! Our guide Hazel was so friendly and engaging and she enthralled us with lots of stories and facts right from when we met. Our hour and a half walk absolutely sped by. Importantly, Hazel ensured we could always hear her (she had a head microphone which was great) and she gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. You won’t be disappointed if you book this walk. Thank you Hazel, you were brilliant.

I thoroughly enjoyed the King's Cross walk with Daniel and learnt so much about this newly developed part of London. Daniel is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, with a good sense of humour. These tours are highly recommended for both Londoners and visitors, and you will go away more enlightened and knowledgeable.

I had the pleasure or working with London Guided Walks recently. From the moment I interacted with Hazel I knew I was in safe hands. She was knowledgeable, efficient and did what she said she would do when she said she would do it. I had 11 groups booked taking them to one restaurant over five different buildings. The tours were interesting and all perfectly timed to arrive at their destination in stages. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and my experience with London Guided Walks was just perfect. Thank you Hazel and all your guides.

Brilliant. Hazel was super helpful in booking this tour. What we wanted wasn't the norm, but she couldn't have been more accommodating. Our tour guide Ian McDairmid was so interesting, explaining to us various road names, buildings and old laws in such a way you hung on his every word. Our group nearly all worked in the city at some time or another and there wasn't one of us who didn't learn something new. We will definitely be booking with London Guided Walks again. Hazel gave a private tour to over 25 visiting American guests as part of our wedding weekend. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time on the Victorian Covent Garden walk. Hazel is a gifted story teller and has a great way of making history come to life. She's incredibly smart and her passion for the history that she shares comes through beautifully. I had done many London Guided Walks prior to hiring them for our private group and cannot recommend them more highly for a great day out.
