My first time trying Waakye and was very impressed!
I got it with fish which was tasty. I wasn't a big fan of the boiled egg and spaghetti on too so I discarded that but the rest was great, and a huge portion for £10! Kept me going for 3 meals

Family business where people are happy and thus service is good. I tried this dish (Kenko?) Where the main is a ball of paste made with fermented maize and goes with fried fish. Was an acquired taste but definitely worth a try even for the less adventurous because as the lady boss puts it, "Variety

The food is nice! The Jollof rice is so soft with lots of flavour. The grilled chicken is also flavoured just enough, I love the aromas that come from the bbq drum when I pass.
Indoor layout could be improved, it appears to be more of a takeaway than a dine in restaurant.

Great food and friendly service. A gem of a place. The kebabs are so tasty. All our party enjoyed our food and we will be back again for sure. It’s a shame we don’t live close enough to use the delivery services available.
