Mikado Sushi & Thai

This little hole in the wall is actually much better than I could have anticipated. It's an all you can eat spot. For it's size I would not have expected that. Everything was cooked to perfection. This is the one spot in town that makes actually good Crab Rangoon. The sushi is excellent and so are the apps. Service was great. Everyone was courteous and food was served quickly. You order everything through a tablet which makes ordering a breeze. I'll definitely be back. Though I will say the place itself is a tight squeeze.

Haven't been to Mikados since before the pandemic & was slightly nervous given the reviews. Pros: - Atmosphere was nice, clean, decor was cute - Service was fast - Food presentation was 100% - Fried foods (tempura, oreos, chicken) were so delicious and fresh - Hand rolls were FULL, sushi pieces were huge 😍 - Lots of options, desserts were so good - Price is good considering AYCE Cons: - There were a few sushi/soups where the flavors were off (wonton soup, spicy salmon roll) & Sashimi was warm at times - The staff were flat/lacked emotion - *Last call is at 9pm (so we felt a bit rushed) But overall, great experience. Still better than 168 sushi in my opinion.

We eat here with friends once every few months for the last 5-ish years, maybe even more. The restaurant is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes off the highway and close to friends of ours. We love that it's AYCE and made to order so that we're always getting freshly prepared food. We love the staff here, they are always so kind and attentive! Food is serves quick and at the appropriate temperature for each dish. The food has always been pretty good, but over the last year or so the food has slowly started to deteriorate. Some of the recipes are changing - and not for the better, the quality of the food for the most part is still quite good, but a few items have definitely suffered. I'm hoping this is just a temporary result of having to cut back post-pandemic and that everything will start to improve as business improves. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained, as are the bathrooms. We will continue to stand by them as they and we all rebuild! Insta: @thestunningwreck
