Love the serene environment, the ambience and architectural set of the library. I did used a third party service provider on the property ans it was very okay.

Wonderful helpful pleasant manner staff. Lovely to see children doing Art work in the holidays and young families reading books to the little ones. Lovely and clean too.

East Ham library is a warm and welcoming space which is much needed and valued at a time of ever increasing hardship and vulnerability for many members of the local community.

Except a few rigidly robotic staff members, the library is a great place to read and use the slow (old PC s) computers.
Most books are of non-academic nature like fiction.
A very few general books in Maths, Science and English are in a back shelf, upstairs.
Mostly it's like a general community meeting hall and children's play books area ( ground floor).
Group or individual study tables are on upstairs.
So it's a library of community people & children, proving a multiple tables with open chess boards, etc .
It is next to the local East Ham Leisure Centre with Gymnastics & Swimming pool. Multi purpose Town hall building., and Newham College of Further education and A- Levels (KS5) college.
It's on the main busy road - Barking Road with TfL Bus Stops, serving Bus Route No's: 5, 238, 300, 325, 376.
A lot of restaurants, Fruits - Vegetables Shops and shopping 🛒.
Walkable to Mc Donald's, Sainsbury's, HSBC bank, Barclays Bank, NatWest Bank, Primark, Boots, Poundland, Sports First and East Ham Underground station.
