Went there along with a large group of 40 people for a fixed menu lunch. The place was quite large n spacious n they had tried to separate out our group which was good for the service. The interiors were good n looked bright n well laid out.
Tried the veggie stuff here which consisted of aloo gobi, some spinach, one more veg dish, yellow dal, rice etc. The taste was just like an authentic home cooked food and was really light n tasty. The spice level was really up to the mark n the team really helped themselves to a hearty meal. The tandoori rotis n mans were also crisp n good. Not to miss the delicious Gulab jamuns which were served in deserts. Hot n soft n tasty.
Coming on to the service, they really served us well despite the large team n that too an uneven mix of veggies n non veggies. Overall a very good experience.

I spent a long time choosing a restaurant to come to with friends for a special reunion dinner, and I was expecting it to be good but I was really blown away. Firstly, the decor is magical. It strikes a balance between cosy, warm and ornate, yet sleek and modern. The traditional puppets hanging from the ceiling add a very cool touch! It feels like an expensive place to eat, not very casual - but people were dressed both up and down.

The serving staff seemed very on top of things even though they were obviously stretched - there was a constant queue waiting for tables and it was a fairly large restaurant, busy on a Friday night. Our waitress was lovely and quite attentive.

The food itself was magnificent. Even though the portion sizes were fairly small, I forgave them as it was all so tasty!! The flavours were divine. The menu seemed like a mix of the traditional/ classic, with modern twists - not a usual Indian menu (so maybe not the best if you're looking for somewhere 'authentic'?). We shared starters, and this was great as there were so many cool sounding options it was tough to decide on one each. We also ordered Thalis, which was again a good idea as you could try different things. Would definitely recommend the veggie thali. The korma was my favourite element! One thing was that there didn't seem to be enough rice to go with the curries, but we ordered some naan to mop it up.

Although it's not the cheapest place to eat, the bill didn't break the bank and we left feeling very full and satisfied!

Oh !! I miss this place the most than anyone !! I still remember the first time I ate here ... It felt so close to home !! Quality is very good, Chef's doing a great job there !! Staff was good. To get here is also easy as it's close to Underground station. If in London again would definitely visit this place again !!

When in London and craving Indian cuisine, I would sure recommend Masala Zone. I was here one evening and was glad I made it.

The place is done up well, the staff are friendly and the food is good too.

Samosa Chaat, Prawns deep fried in South Indian Spices and Chicken Biryani was our order. All that we ordered for tasted fresh and tasty. We sure enjoyed our meal here. And for people looking for Halal options I would like to add that their meat and chicken is Halal too.

Masala is very decent Indian dinner to have a quick lunch. The open kitchen makes it appealing for your appetite to see the chef cooking next to you. The curries are the right dosage of spiciness. The papadams and chutney are not to be missed. Service was efficient.

Still great!. This is a chain and i have been to a few of their branches, and its a good charin. The first night we were early enough for their special, which was a good deal and tasty to boot. On our second visit, we had a more substantial meal, the thali with lots of little dishes of delicious things.

Quick & Easy. Staying in Earls Court with plenty to choose from -we had dinner here twice in our week in town.
We had the Thali both times - with various curries & mixtures,
Really hard to go wrong - plenty to choose from, good service, clean & quick.
I dont know how authentic it is - but if you want a good feed - not too expensive & tastes good - hard to fault.
Thanks

I had the regular thali dish with the butter chicken as my curry dish of choice. the food was wonderful and there was plenty of it! The service exceeded my expectations. Very attentive and patient. The server even took the time to explain a few things from the menu and my dish when it was first served to me. I would go back again and recommend it to everyone.

Authentic. I like their platters and find that for a 'mucked up' Indian spot with shee-shee lighting, it's easy to score a table, the service is reliant and the food interesting.

Recommended.

Overall, this was the first time I’d had thali here, and found it an enjoyable experience. Would I return to this restaurant? Most certainly so, and I’d recommend it to anyone despite it being a chain restaurant as the food is tasty, the quality is satisfactory, and the ambience is always good for groups of friends wanting a loud party or even couples wanting a quiet dinner.

Perfect place for small gatherings of family & friends specially if you wanna treat your non Indian friends - i am sure they gonna love it because they have got the correct spices according to them!
Ambience is very contemporary with modern design but traditional paintings and hangings- depicting a rajasthani culture with puppets around!
Service is very quick but the staff is so busy to show any interest but was nice and polite.
Tried some of street food there as was not much interested in thali or curries but their thali is a good option to offer someone who is not from India as it contains basic Indian traditional food - rice/dal/currie/chapati/popadum/salad and chutney. Liked the dahi bhallas and aloo tikki.
Reasonably priced for London standards.
Recommendable experience

Few friends of mine, suggested to try Masala Zone, as it offers one of the best Indian cuisine.
So, I went to this place near Earl's court tube. It was bit late when I entered the restaurant.

Usually in an Indian restaurant, the menu is at least four pages, but it is crispy 2 page!!!
It imm catches my eye that Thali is one of their signatures and offer Grand and Regular Thali with four choices (veg, chicken, fish, lamb)

I tried chicken Thali with Malabar chicken(you can choose your chicken dishes from the menu) and a Naan bread.
The plate contains Mint & Mango Chutney, Papadum, cup of rice, Malabr chicken, Yellow dhal, Potato mushroom dry sabzi, Okra masala.

Its value for money and all the dishes tasted awesome. Also, the service was pretty friendly.
When really hungry & wanted to kill it with Indian food, this is the place

I eat here quite often and think the quality is very good and the price reasonable. If all you eat is a regular thali with a soft drink, then the bill for 2 is roughly £25. I have tried most of their curries and my favourite is rogan josh as well as chicken mangalore (the only properly spicy one). The restaurant is spacious and you always find a table (for 2) without having to book. My experience of the staff is that they are quite efficient, courteous and ready to explain if there's anything you don't understand. This has become our regular Indian now and I would totally recommend it.

One of the oldest indian chain restaurant in London with brachnes at various place in London. I have tried the restaurant for a couple of years now and the quality is consistent. The option range from indian street food like samosa, to very delicious south indian cuisine.
If you are into trying a bit of everything, you could also order the various thali options, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Very reasonably price, very filling meal for 2 with starters and drinks £40.
Service is good.
Very favourite with Indian families.

I have been to this place a lot number of times - with family and friends. But one evening I was craving for Street food in London, so called my flat mate and went there straight after college. Located very conveniently just opposite the Earl's court tube station, we reached there in no time. So my craving was still there ;-)

The ambiance of the place is Indianised with colors all over and has a Rajasthani feel to it with puppets in their attire hanging around. The staff, as usual, was polite and courteous.

We ordered the Aloo tikki chaat and Mango Lassi. Mango drink is one drink that you would get in all Indian restaurants in London and not in India. Strange!! It's a refreshing mango drink though!! The aloo tikki was so amazing that we could not stop ourselves from ordering one more.
We also ordered a platter of street food that included sev puri, bhel and dahi puri. We simply gorged on the platter!! We were so full after this, that we had to skip the main course.
As my hunger and the craving settled, we ordered for the cheque and were happy to see the bill amount.

The street food experience was totally worth it!!

Food - The food is Average and not very authentic Indian. Its more suitable for Europeans and Britons as the food is not spicy. The best dish here is the Butter Chicken/chicken tikka masala. If you are vegetarian then you should try the Paneer tikka masala.

Ambiance - This restaurant has a very typical Indian ambience. With colors everywhere and little dolls/puppets from Rajasthan hanging everywhere. The staff is friendly and really good.

Price - Its not too heavy on the pocket and the minimum/average cost for two people would be around £20,which is good for a dinner in London.

This restaurant is very conveniently located and is walking distance from Earls Court tube station. We went there on a Friday night when the place was quite packed. Despite of being busy, the waiter was very friendly, received us well and seated us within few minutes of arrival.

This is one restaurant I usually visit when I am craving Indian street food (known as Chaat). Whenever I visit, I make it a ritual to order Pau bhaji and Aloo tikki chaat for starters. Both the dishes are very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of the dish on offer.

I would recommend their Grand Thali (has both veg and non-veg options) where you can have a full meal at a very very reasonable price. One can eat to their heart's content in just around £10, which is a great deal you can't miss!

Overall, we had a pleasant experience and felt at home being away from home.

Best Indian restaurant I've tried! We got there by chance on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, there was still room for tourists like us. We had two dishes with nans. Everything was excellent, the chicken was of very good quality, and the spices were well combined, making for very tasty food. You can tell that all the dishes have been prepared with care. The waiters were very attentive and gave good advice. Admittedly, the prices are a little high but are worth the quality of the meal and the copious quantities. I recommend it!

Decent Indian food with a menu including dishes from across India. The interior and ambience is cosy and perfect for a quiet dinner with friends and family to hosting a special occasion. They also have a good selection of cocktails/mocktails. The menu was full of solid dishes like Chicken 65, Allepey prawn curry, Lucknow biryani, the dhal and also make sure you get some roti to mop up the curries.

Service very friendly and VERY quick arguably a bit pushy. Didn't even get time to read bill before card machine arrived. Walked in without booking 7pm Wednesday. Starter was a Pao Slider Veg that had some good warming heat, but did feel a little double carbs. For main Lamb Rogan Josh with rice, the lamb was wonderfully tender, and although the sauce had a nice warming quality to it without being chilli hot, it also felt a bit bland, with very little flavour coming from the sauce rather than lamb. Overall nice enough to come again albeit menu a bit more limited than a lot of Indian restaurants.

Opulently decorated Indian restaurant with vibrant artwork and lighting. My anxiety peaked when a friend ordered the sickly sweet sounding jalebi chaat but I was pleasantly surprised by its unique, crispy, savoury texture. The Dhai puri was also creamy and the perfect bite. The paneer makhanwala was rich and tasted great whilst the thali was good value. However I was very disappointed with the Marigold fizz cocktail which literally tasted of apple juice. There was also only one toilet for all the guests to share which caused a queue.

Amazing Indian food, perfect service, wonderful atmosphere … what more can you ask for? I chose the Butter Chicken Thali. Even though it looked like a huge platter, it was just the right amount to leave room for a truly breathtaking desert. The waitstaff were attentive without crowding you, they asked for a list of allergies and had I had any, I’m sure that would have been no issue whatsoever. If Indian is your thing, do pay them a visit. For me, the Masala Zone will be a stable on any London visit.

I recently visited Masala Zone with a group of friends on July 11 to celebrate my friend's 27th birthday, and I must say that the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a delightful atmosphere. First and foremost, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of trying the chicken Briyani, and I must say it was the best I've ever tasted. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the tender chicken paired with aromatic spices created an explosion of taste that left me craving for more. Each bite was a culinary delight, and I couldn't resist savouring every morsel. Before our main course, we indulged in the panipuris as starters, and they were a delightful treat. The tangy and spicy flavours of the puris were delicious, leaving our taste buds tingling with joy. It was a fantastic choice to kick off our culinary adventure at Masala Zone. Despite arriving extremely late when the kitchen was about to close, the staff members at Masala Zone were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They never rushed us or made us feel unwelcome. On the contrary, they ensured we had a wonderful time and even allowed us to order more food at a later stage. The level of service we received was truly commendable, and it made our celebration even more enjoyable. In terms of ambience, Masala Zone truly excels. The interior decor is stunning, creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant's design adds to its charm. Whether it's the lighting, the seating arrangements, or the overall ambience, everything is thoughtfully curated to provide a top-notch dining experience. I highly recommend Masala Zone to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of exceptional service, friendly staff, outstanding food quality, and captivating ambience make it a must-visit destination. Whether it's a special celebration or an intimate dinner, Masala Zone will undoubtedly impress you with its culinary delights and warm hospitality.
