We loved the fab food it was very tasty and not ecpensive. The staff were attentive and so friendly. A very casual atmosphere made the whole experience very enjoyable
Will definately be back
Fantastic food, the staff go out their way, worth every penny coming here !
A very clean place.
Rice service a large menu of Persian food and Persian Desert.
There is no service charge though the service is amazing.
Unfortunately, they are not serving Shisha anymore!
One of the best Iranian, middle eastern kebab place. Succulent kebabs, grilled tomatoes and fragrant saffron rice with butter poured on top! It’s absolutely divine to have a morsel full of kebab with the rice drenched in butter and the juices released from the meat. For about £18-20 it’s a killer meal. Definitely recommend Rice
Just had dinner @ Rice. Greeted and assisted by the owner. The serve was quick, had the Chinjeh. The lamb was done well but it was a very small serving of lamb. It is a nice spot to relax and enjoy a family meal.
I dropped into Rice this weekend and thought the service and welcome was lovely. A charming lady front of house. I ordered a good deal of food as it was such good value: falafel wrap which was well cooked despite the naan being a little thin, chicken wings, which were a generous 5 to a portion and very tasty, and grilled vegetables. Which were, sadly a real let down. An onion a few bits of pepper and a mushroom for 3.50?! That was a real rip off. Other than that it was a really good meal
Almost a daily visited place, great food, great service and very nice people
Overall 4.8/5
It's a nice little restaurant in the midst of similar style cuisines, but what stands out the most between them all, is their polite and welcoming staff, reasonably priced menu and real succulent meat. I'd certainly recommend a sit down meal, whether for a small gathering between friends or just a table for two.
After a long day of wondering around in Chiswick, after passing by Rice, I decided to treat myself to some Iranian food. As I wasn't planning to eat out, I decided to go for the cheapest main, Koobideh. I usually wouldn't go for Koobideh if I don't know the restaurant as it is probably the riskiest Iranian kebab you can have, it can be great or it can be really bad.
I have to say it turned out to be really nice. The portion was just the right size and the staff were really friendly. It seemed to be run by a family, but I can't be sure.
I had dinner here with my wife and a friend visiting from abroad. I read great reviews online and Rice certainly did not disappoint. The overall atmosphere and vibe was great! It felt like home. The lovely hostess was very motherly, friendly and sweet. It also seemed like she knew everyone coming in to dine and also those just walking past the restaurant on the high street. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced! It was a great experience eating here and we hope to come back.

The owner is a gem. Wonderful flavours and affordable. Food came out hot :)
Delicious and affordable Persian food! (they also do fish & chips from their neighbour -maybe owned by the same people?)
Super friendly staff with super delicious comforting dishes. Predominantly lamb and chicken but also a few vegetarian dishes too. The rice was insanely fluffy too!
Large portions for the price (so affordable for the area) and, in my opinion, much better than other similar places on the busier end of Chiswick.
There's also a handful of parking spaces right outside which are free after 7pm and all day Sunday.
Will definitely be returning!
Romina was a lovely soul that looked after us and made sure we left with our belly’s full. The food was great. The baklava and mint tea was the perfect finish to a perfect evening.
First impression was the warm and welcoming service. Do not worry if you never had Persian food, not to mention everything here is good, there’s picture menu and the host is happy to give you some guides. (It was my first time also:)
Naan bread tasted good by itself and even better with chili sauce. Meats were juicy. I don’t eat lamb, but this lamb skewer was bomb!
This place is Awesome!
We ordered hummus. Naan was fresh, soft and crispy; and the garlic & chili sauce that came with it tasted so good. Intense authentic flavors.
We order the lamb with rice, and chicken with rice (sorry forgot the dish names, but number 34&31 on the menu.). Both were very delicious.. the meats were tender and the broth that came with both dishes tasted different too. I loved them so much.
At the end we had a pot of Persian tea with mint.. Perfect experience.
It looks like a family business. The woman who served us was very friendly. She even offer to add hot water to our tea unlimited times.🤣
I honestly would come here again and again even just for the naan. Everything tasted great.
The Chiswick High St local for the die hard fans. Food is fresh and tasty very authentic. Prices are reasonable. Friendly and helpful service. The decor is basic but the atmosphere is buzzing. It's popular. Parking available on the street if you are lucky. Definitely our go to place for a great Persian experience.
A lovely smallish restaurant serving freshly made good with authentic flavours.
My husband loves this place and used to visit twice a week when he worked in the area 10 years ago and he said things haven't changed much since, same great taste. I enjoyed the special rice but found the vegetarian option dry and needing of a sauce. We did have little pots of mayo and another sauce given to us but I'm not sure what they were.
The hallumi side was nice and I think it would be better eaten with the vegetarian main.
I would pop in again if I was in the area.
The hostess is what made the place warm. The fact they smiled at you after a hard day, sitting to have a bite with a friend is all one can ask for in London. Smiles are rare in London and that changed everything for us.
We had a great time chatting away eating the freshly baked naan bread, so light and tasty. So tasty that I could eat it by itself.
I will visit again because of the spirit of this place and warmth and everything shows in the food.
Not a fine dining but better experience than that.
Nice people with a great hospitality. Lovely foods! Kebabs were so tender and tasty, starters served with fresh warm naan bread.
