Very nice place set in a peaceful location only a minute from a busy tourist track. Decent pub food, with no frills. Also good selection of beer and wine. Slightly disappointing Sunday roast, with cold vegetables that had to be warmed by the gravy. Really good fish'n chips though.
I have food intolerances alergy. When I asked the staff about the details of the ingredients on the menu, he showed me through a file with the details of the ingredients of the menu. When I ordered a hot drink at the counter, a male staff brought it to my seat. I appreciate this thoughtfulness. Because I had the experience of getting burned while carrying my drink at a cafe. Thank you.
Lovely Sunday Roast. The gravy was especially nice and the honey carrots were great too. Would’ve been nice without the spinach purée and possibly with more potatoes and carrots. The brownie for dessert was nice but didn’t taste homemade. Service was ok. The atmosphere was good and the restaurant was cozy.
