First of all, please let me express my love to this restaurant in Chinese: “多谢招待!很棒的餐厅!”Back to the topic, this restaurant serves probably one of the best Chinese dishes I’ve ever tasted in Europe. I need to mention the dim sum (kind of shared plates in Chinese)of this restaurant since it’s fabulous!!! Very traditional Southern-Chinese style, pretty like what I eat in Guangdong Province. The food is beautifully seasoned and well-cooked, tender and juicy. Service is also wonderful and the attitude is friendly. Strongly recommend!!

I ordered from Superstar Chinese Restaurant for delivery and I had a very pleseant experience. The food was delicious. I loved the steamed dumplings: pork, shanghai pork but also roasted pork char siu buns. Vegetable cheung fun, bean curd rolls and wonton noodle soup were also oustanding. In general, the food felt very healthy and fresh. The portions were decent, 3-4 dumplings each. The order also came very well packaged and was not leaking. It's a perfect light dinner choice. Although if you are a fan of fried they also have such options. They also dropped some fortune cookies into my order. Definitely recommending!

Certainly one of the best Chinese places in central London. The food is superb and the prices - while central London - still much better value for money than most. The service, despite reviews to the contrary, I have always found snappy and friendly. Have the soft shell crab, you won’t look back!

Small, cosy Chinese restaurant in the heart of China Town. Prices are average but you can find little cheaper around this area and need to be ready that they add 10 percent service charge to your bill. Food is nice if you like Chinese meal)

This is the second time we've been in a month and I must say our food selection was so much better this time round. Dimsum was great as usual but the scallops with asparagus and seafood udon noodles were amazing. Prices were as you would expect in London and service was fast and attentive.

Went to the restaurant with a large group of friends. Had a great time!
The lady in charge of my booking was called Mae (hope I am spelling her name right). She was very helpful in suggesting menu items and quantities. I requested her to be there personally for my booking and I was delighted that she actually changed her day off to accommodate my request. We went for dumpling starters and had Prawns, chicken, pork and veg options. Food was all very fresh and flavoursome. Wine and drinks are also good. Crispy duck pancakes and aubergine, tofu veg options plenty.
Jasmine tea at the end good to digest all the food is a must. We sat upstairs which was less busy early evening so could chat easily. It gets busier as the evening progresses so better to reserve a table in advance if going in groups. Overall highly recommend this restaurant. Easy to remember the name and just opposite the sweet little cinema!

This was a good find. Decent quality food and fast service. I had the set menu for two which was great value; including hors d'oeuvres, crispy duck pancakes, 2x mains and rice. The crispy duck was presented at the table and shredded in front of us. The spring rolls were genuinely some of the best I've had - super crispy with good filling. No beer on tap, just bottles.
10% service charge was added.

This massive bowl of soup (portion of 6) is wonderfully beautiful.
Can’t get enough of this. Would come back again in winter for it!!

This place is so clean and this includes the toilets!! Service is great!! Food was lovely and price not too bad!! Though find Coke price £4.25 and my red martini with lemonade £4.50!! More off lemonade with martini as you can’t taste martini!!

Delicious food and wonderful service, just be careful of the heat rating! Two "mild" dishes can have very different heat levels.

This is by far the best dim sum restaruant I have been in London China Town. Food is hot and delicious, as best as those in Hong Kong, as I come from HK, I know what is meant by good dim sum. Their place is clean and quiet and not crowded. Service is good and you can enjoy a really good meal there. Now we go there often and would love to recommend my families and friends to this lovely restuarant.

I went there with my friend last Sunday night, the restaurant wasn't packed, and we were seated promptly. We ordered and the food came in an average time, the food (we get dim sum: pork buns, chives and shrimp dumplings, vegetarian dumplings, rice, turnip cakes)-- the food was really really good. The price for the whole meal (including 2 glasses of house white wine, and a ton of food), was under 40£, we felt like it was such a good deal for being in the centre of London and for the amount of food we ate. The only negative thing about Superstar would be that the staff seem to hover over you, perhaps they're over staffed, but we felt like we couldn't put down a chopstick without them coming to take away an empty dish or replace something. Overall a good restaurant, just a bit overstaffed.

Great dim sum, Peking duck, salt/pepper squid. Meal for 4 including wines and beers £25 each. Great value and food.
