Lovely seekh kebabs n mutton chops and to top it even better mutton biryani
I have been visiting Kadiris since I was 19 and I'm 50 now, the owner Jamal is a true gent and culinary genius! Amazing food!
Have been going to this place since I was a teenager, food is amazing have introduced people I no to here a they love the food too
Best Indian food in London. Always to the same high standard. Would recommend highly.
The best Biryani I've had! And excellent external catering. I would highly recommend Kadiris
Lovely food, had a takeaway and thoroughly enjoyed ! Will be visiting again very soon!
Best Lamb Biriany in London. :) Ibrahim is a true gentleman
Amazing food, well worth trying the Chicken Biryani.
Food is amazing, people working there are also amazing. Best Biryani in London!!!
Best Biriyani I've ever had...sorry mum! The mixed grill as a shares starter was also excellent.
love the biryani! normally only have biryani when we go there but last time we tried a few other things which were also lovely! my family who doesn't normally even eat rice dishes when we go out really enjoyed it :)
Best Biryani in the World without a doubt!!!!!!!!! Go and try it and you will be going back again and again and again and again!
Best Curries in London ......no more needed on that debate
My family has been going to Kadiri's for almost a decade now. The taste and service is absolutely phenomenal and has stayed constant. Favourite restaurant, by far!
There are loads of things on the menu, I have not tried them all but those that I have tried are really tasty. A few in particular that stand out (either ordered and enjoyed by me, or ordered and had praise from people I was eating with) are the bitter gourd and lentil dish (Masala Karela Dahl Burji), butter chicken wings (cooked with absolutely loads of ginger), chilli mogo starter, karahi kebab egg, and any of the parathas.
This place was recommended to me by a few friends. Had a lot of hype and praise. Was told that it was great food and the biryani was the best biryani in town. I went recently with my little brother on Eid. I've been meaning to come here for a long while now and it seemed like a good time to come.
Looks really fancy and sauve from the outside. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Had a couple nice families having a meal. One big table was even reserved. Nothing too special about the decorations but easy on the eyes none the less.
Food overall was great. I'll start off with the biryani; I had huge expectation. Spicy flavour and tender, juicy meat melting and dripping from the biryani, into my mouth. It didn't exceed expectation but it was still pretty good. Recommended. I had the mutton biryani. It was tasty but a little sweeter and less spicer than I usually like it but quite nice, never the less.
Note that if you buy a small portion of biryani you get it served a 'half plate portion'. Thats what it is- half a plate enough for one person. you order medium or above you'll have it served in a claypot. Better for sharing and makes sense not using a claypot for a portion...Portions good for lunch or one person
The mixed grill was off the charts. Delicious, juicy and tender meat. My favourite. Had a lot of flavour. I had a medium mixed grill and had; 2 mutton chops (initially thought about buying a portion of 4 mutton chop) 2 tandoori chicken pieces, 2 chicken tikka wings and 2 kebabs. All the meats were full of flavour, tender and juicy. Perfect amount of masala and spice and well. I don't know if you're about eating bloody or rare meat (you can ask of to find out) but I like my meat cooked. The mutton chops, however, where outstanding. Better than the biryani in my opinion. The mutton chops and tikka wings are the reason you should come here. Soo tender and juicy mutton meat, melting and exploding in my mouth..other meats where damn good too but this was just too much. You get extra meat if you buy large or family mix grill and I believe you get shrimp and other exclusives.
Overall, i wish I had ordered more mutton chops. The customer service was good and food didn't take too long either. A lot of options on the menu too; for shakes, drink and food. Me and my brother had a great time. Food was great, good athmosphere and had a great time.
Don't come here for the biryani. Yeah...come and try it- it's good. But the mutton chops and mix grill are the reason you should come here of you ask me. A great restaurant to come to for ANY occasion. 4.5 stars. Would definitely come here again for grill and biryani and try one of the curry dishes.
Indian Foodie In London

After 2.5 years long search for a good biryani in London I bumped on to this one. Unarguably the best biryani I have had in London and a must for all the biryani lovers. I tried Shami kebab and Lamb Biryani - both were equally good. To be fair it is not at par with Biryanis I have had in India, but definitely better than any other London restaurant can offer. This is a very small clean place in Wilesden Green.
One of the best biriyanis in London Town. Rich and moist. The lamb biriyani is an absolute must, the missus loves the raita (comes standard with the meal) but we tend to order a large tub along with the tarka dhal. Home comfort food reasonably priced. This place is fairly popular and small so be sure to book, they do offer take out options.
Ate at this restaurant few weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Was fairly busy but got a table pretty much straight away. Nice welcome from staff and also nice cosy restaurant. Food was brilliant and the biryani was delicious. Service was good and also very friendly owner who came over to the table to ask how everything was. Had heard about their biryani, and it didn't disappoint us. Will go again soon.
An horrific accident (which I am glad to say was without fatalities) snarled up our journey home from the cafe today and so there was only one thing for it - ditch the motor and grab a bite.
Massive disappointment ensued as Sushi Say, a lovely little Japanese joint was closed, but happy fortune that it was, because I wouldn't have discovered, Kadiris, a cosy Indian restaurant (with an East African influence) on the High Road which had a relaxed and lovely atmosphere, welcoming staff and a menu that looked very inviting indeed.
By the time we were ready to order, at least five people had come in and picked up their takeaway, beautifully presented in a house shaped box may I add and the phone was ringing off the hook. Encouraging start I thought.
Now I love samosas and these crispy, deeply flavoursome lamb parcels were the real deal. A perfect start to the meal. My friend had the kachoris, potatoes and lentils encased in a thin and delicious pastry along with a portion of shamee kababs, a kind of patty made up of minced lamb, lentils and chilli with a crispy egg coating, both of which she thoroughly enjoyed.
If you've never had a puree before, it's a thin, puffed up bread made from chapati flour. It came with some chili king prawns served in a spicy tomato onion and pepper sauce. The quality of the prawns was fantastic. We finished by sharing a chicken biryani, the texture and spices of which were just heavenly. I'd sell my granny to get the recipe for that dish alone.
The place was littered with locals, the staff were talking to them like old friends and that's what this restaurant will no doubt become for me. An old friend to which you can turn that won't disappoint. All power to your elbow Kadiris.
Live the food from Kadiri's and have done since I was a little girl. Kadiri's are Most famous for their spectacular samosas and lamb chops and have been eaten by my family for years. I have so many great things to say about Kadiri's it being an old favourite but I you are one who might not like too much grease or your on a diet it might not be for you but that's only because it's crazy delicious!
Enjoyable. Good food, well flavoured & textured. Medium priced dishes, well worth the money. I read the reviews & decided to try this outlet, the paneer chilli was very nice as with the chicken malai & biryani -both the paneer & lamb. Even though I'm not really a biryani person. Only let down was the potato chop. Paneer was soft and the lamb/chicken were moist and tender (cooked with care/skill).
Wish Kadiri's were all over London!!. This is by far one of my favourite Indian restaurants in London. The service is wholesome and friendly, never failing to make you feel welcome and the food is fantastic. Ask anyone about Kadiri's and they will rave about the famous Biryanis. I also hear you can do a bit of celebrity spotting in the restaurant...but I am yet to see someone I recognise!!!
...when I heard positive things about Kadiri’s in scruffy Willesden, I wasn’t expecting too much. The menu looked the part, but still, it was in Willesden.

If you ever do get that craving for a good biriyani, head down straight to Kadiri's at Willesden Green. Take a right from outside the Willesden station and walk straight down for 2-3 minutes.
The decor is neatly done, though the lack of space may be damper on weekends due to the crowd. The staff is polite and the biriyani of your choice (vegetarian, chicken, mutton, shrimp/fish) comes in three variations - namely a small portion, which is typically suited for one person (comes with a salad on the plate), the regular portion, which is ideal for someone like me (with an appetite for a biriyani) and comes in a clay pot. Picture below. The last variation is the family version suited for a bigger group. We went for the mutton biriyani and were very very pleased with the flavour. The aroma and the texture of the biriyani was perfect and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who misses a good biriyani in London.
It is known for its mughlai cuisine. We had it at a friend's place who is a big fan of this place for biryani only.I must say the vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian biryani both were good.Had tried chicken, mutton and the vegatarian biryani served with raita(curd) and salad.A good option to order biryani..have never been to the place though.
Since 2015, we are visiting this place. They never disappointed with his quality and quantity of food. Yesterday we went to ikea and planned to visit here for a takeaway. Rice was slightly hard this time and though lamb quantity was too much, it didn’t give the biriyani satisfaction. It was more like a lamb curry with rice. We certainly had much better than this . Lamb was very tasty, that was saviour. Parking is difficult here, sainsbury allows 10 minutes parking for nearby shopping, which seems to be good option if you order earlier and go for collection. Otherwise try any available road side parking. Not too many places to sit, better to check for availability before you visit there.
It's considered to be one of the best places for biryani in London and it lived up to the reputation. I liked the biryani, although the shami kebab was not exactly what I expected, maybe because I am used to a different style. Mango lassi was good, it was thick and fresh. I got a Kokni lamb quorma packed. For me the best part was the service. The guy who takes orders, serves, brings the bill and also manages the counter and kitchen was so friendly and hospitable. He twice asked me how I am finding it while I was eating. He was very courteous and nice. It's a good restaurant and one must go to have their briyani among other things. I missed out on the chicken 999, will probably try it next time.
Highly recommended by friends, so made a visit. Food was good, served on time, especially as it was Ramadan. Good value, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Not the best for parking, but arrive earlier than normal to find nearby parking.
Food was excellent- delicious, well made and presented. I can see they put a lot of effort in this long established Indian restaurant. We had a take away and next we’ll eat in.
A hidden gem in Willesden. The food is simply cooked to perfection. This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in London. The atmosphere is warm and always welcoming. The staff are very friendly. great service, exceptional food, amazing atmosphere what more can you ask for!!!!!!
Delicious,appetizing,palatable Lamb Biryani. (Spring)
I would say the best one in London.
Adam the best guy serving. 👍🏻
Adam was amazing and so was Tatiana. The food was delicious as always and I will definitely come back. I especially recommend the mango juice which was the star for me and you have to try the biriyani. The poppodoms were straight banging and I loved them. I love you Kadiri’s.
Had Kadiris biryanis for so long so we decided to sample it fresh at the shop itself! Even if the food was good as usual, left us with a feeling that it tastes better on delivery!! Sunday late afternoon and the store wasn’t busy at all, the staff was polite and efficient. The interiors look to have been renovated not very long back and is quite tastefully impressive.
We ordered the chaat and the lamb samosa, lamb biryani and butter chicken. they were absolutely delicious!! i really do recommend the lamb, and the veg biryani (got it by mistake! but the service was so kind) was equally delicious! we ordered mango lassi and Vimto mojito - 10/10 amazing drinks, esp the mango lassi. the service was so kind, and funny! and the environment was so nice, I felt so comfortable!! really do recommend this place 100%
Beautiful Ambience.. Food Quality Is Very Good, All The Dishes Are Fresh Cooking And Very Delicious. Adam Is Very Polite And He Took My Order Everytime, Very Quick Service. Highly Recommended. Try Once And You Will Go Every Time..Cheers
