Was with my family of 7 for a pre theatre meal, it was lovely.. the service was excellent, the food delicious! Cannnot fault and would definitely recommend- the old gentleman was lovey and friendly As was our waitress. I can speak on behalf of all my family as they agree that it was lovely.
5 minute walk from Holborn underground. Friendly family run place. Food was delicious and the wine was fabulous.
Would definitely recommend 5 star
I went to II Castelletto with brother.
This is a really good place for a good chit-chat and gossip.
The interiors and decors are also very good.
Went here for my birthday using a Groupon voucher and really enjoyed the meal. I ordered: Bianchetti Fritti (deep fried whitebait) - which wasn’t very nice, too oily with no taste
Pollo Alla Cacciatora (chicken breast with onions. peppers, mushroom sauce on spaghetti) - this had a lovely flavour
Creme Brulee - this was also nice, really creamy and tasty
The restaurant was quiet and cosy and overall I thought it was a good deal.
Excellent food and quite a few choices for a vegetarian. We had the veg pasta, risotto and the fries. The prices are decent and the host is polite. Outside seating is also served food. There are discount options on fixed menu with a drink, a salad and a main course. If I lived in London, this would be the place I would go again and again and again.
Great Italian pizza, typical Italian service. Good fun and near all the camera shops and bookshops. House wine not up to much.
Truly authentic experience and absolutely divine food. Exceeded our expectations. We aren’t from around here so not sure if it’s well priced or not but considering we had a bottle of wine (recommendation was perfect) starters and mains it felt reasonable.
Would highly recommend this place if you looking for quality Italian food.
Great place to eat if you are by the British Museum. Waiter was very friendly and the service was good and fast. My wife really enjoyed her Burrata. 😋
Nice place to have have a long lunch, meet friends, and have some wine and a meal. Nice music and ambiance.
I had the veal (breaded and crisp), my sister had the vegetable risotto which was full of flavor 😊👍🏼
Their rose wine is nice and dry/crisp 💕
Cappuccinos and tiramisu are great too.
Il Castelletto is a great Italian restaurant with delicious food such as pasta and pizza. The workers are also very nice. The waiter, Oz, who is on the photos, is a nice and friendly person.
I was there 2 weeks ago, the food was amazing and the quality - price for it is really good. We had lunch special which includes 2 or 3 courses. Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect as well, we all left satisfied.
THE BEST Tiramisú I have tried in London so far and I have tried quite a few by now.
I would really recommend this place for a couple of reasons. They offer an Italian menu with choice among pasta, pizza, soups etc. The quality is good and prices are honest (considered that the place is at 50 meter distance from the British Museum). What I really liked is to have dinner here because in the evening that part of London is very quiet and you can enjoy the calm and cozy atmosphere of the town without all the noise and crowd of other places, like Covent Garden.
Simple, elegant and just overall great atmosphere.
Food is amazing. The portions are fair. Service is really good!
I’ll definitely come back again when I’m in the area
Brilliant place just round the corner from the British Museum, London.
We popped in after visiting the Museum, as we were hungry - lunchtime. The gentleman was lovely and accommodating, especially when we asked about gluten free food.
We ended up having the middle offer (1 main, 1 salad and any drink for £15.99) and it was absolutely delicious.
Considering we usually have a bit of a job finding places that cater for GF still, this was really nice.
I ordered the tortellini, other pictures are accurate and it was great. My experience was influenced by this Chianti and my husband ordered a veal parmigiana type dish scallopini something. . . The panna cotta was fantastic. The latte was good. The zabaglione was not a custard, tasted like warm port with cream and a cookie. Overall had a fantastic time, good ambiance. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
It was a nice Italian restaurant. Prices OK. Food delicious. Staff great!
I had the lasagna al forno and was not disappointed!
