Thanks for delivering all the way to Somerset! Ordered all of the winter menu for my fiancé's birthday, and we are enjoying a beautiful, delicious, beautifully presented treat every day. Thank you for the amazing customer service as well, both in the London shop and when ordering over the phone.

Very beautiful and with great variety of Japanese sweets. I've had the luck to experience the tea making by the expert lady, kimono dressed, who's been so kind to prepare matcha tea for me, following old ceremony rules. Great.

I have been there to this place a couple of times. Overall a very good collection of Japanese sweets. I love all the different types of mochi. During my last visit, I also tried the matcha cookie which was also quiet nice. The prices are on the higher side but the taste is very good.

Apologies, I haven’t been blogging for a while but I have to admit I haven’t been feeling great this year. I haven’t really been out much not exploring around, but last weekend, with the festival of lights in town I had to go. I’m familiar with the concept because we have it in Portugal as well, in the gorgeous town of Cascais called Lumina

We were just walking around when we've noticed Minamoto Kitchoan and we've loved it immediately. As soon as you go through the door you feel you've teleported into Japan and are about to release the inner child in you. I had the chocolate Mochi which was delicious and not to sweet. He had the famous sweet bean Tsuya (for those of you that watch anime like Doraemon you'll be familiar with this one). Loved it and I'm sure I'll be back more often. It's not cheap, each sweet is around £2,40, but it's worth it

I wish I had taken more pictures while I was inside, because all the sweets were very cute and looked so good. We bought a couple of mochi which were both delicious - they cost £2.50 apiece or something close, so that's no worse than a fancy macaron shop. The staff are very kind and professional - I'd love to stop by every time I'm in the area.

This place is a definite go to if you want to try something special and different. Happened to stumble across it and had to go in. Off the bat we were given some kusamochi rice cake complimentary and it was so fluffy and yummy. I bought the Japanese fluffy cake and we had the matcha set in store. After we finished the staff gave us a peach jelly tester and even that was so delicious, tasted so pure. We even ended up buying the rice cake from before. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Had a great time in the shop and all the snacks were really good. Would definitely go again.

They offer a wide range of delicate Japanese cakes, desserts and sweet snacks. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is very soothing and satisfying. Most cakes are quite sweet though, best served with Matcha or pure black tea.

Real freshly delivered from Japan! I love their desserts since I was in Taiwan, I was so excited when I knew they are opened in London! All seasonal desserts definitely worth to order. My favorite are "Sakura mochi", it's sticky rice cake that contain creamy red been paste, wrapped with pickled Sakura leave. Absolutely delicious! If you are ready to spend some money on desserts, don't forget to try their pear jelly... You can see the actual pear in the jelly. There are more to choose, must visit!

A great little venue that serves authentic Japanese sweets and treats. I brought my partners Japanese colleague and she was so happy to have treats from home. The staff are so friendly and we were made feel at home.

As a massive fan of Japan, I can say that coming to this shop makes me very happy!! The sweets are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (even though, unfortunately, they are a little bit expensive). Staff members are Japanese, so they know very well what they are selling, they have always been very polite and friendly. I highly recommend going to Minamoto Kitchoan!! Best Regards. Luana.

Lovely little shop for Japanese sweets, an authentically transporting experience. I am partial to their Tsuya - sweet red bean paste sandwiched between two mini pancakes. The whole experience is quite reminiscent of Japan, down to the packaging of the sweets.
