I’m originally from India and after being disappointed with many fake so called frozen Indian restaurant I assumed that it’s hard to find authentic Indian restaurant in London but, after trying their food once I guess I’ve tried all of the items in the menu. The food is very authentic cooked in an open kitchen under your supervision if you like while you’re sipping on a masala chai made with 5 different herbs.
Staff is really friendly and chef baloo is a really nice person who offers free food to homeless people with smile. After seeing that I never went to any other Indian restaurant to try out food and try to go there as often as possible and recommend it to my mates as I may can’t go there everyday but, at least by guiding others I can help him to grow and get some good Karma possibly since he shares his profit with poor people. It’s hard to find simple down to earth person. Please check this place out and help him to help other misfortunate people as well

Places like this make living in Deptford great. Lovely food, great vegan options, all meat/fish free, amazing staff, nice vibes.
Less plastic please though.
Highly recommend to all!
Such amazing food with great prices!! And the lady who worked here yesterday was so understanding and kind to us. 100% recommend eating here, but MAKE SURE you bring cash!
First time in hullabaloo, the food is incredible! The interior is very authentic and simple, the staff is extremely friendly and the service is amazing! You can get main dishes for 7-8£, which is such a bargain for the quality of the food and London prices! Will be coming here more regularly for sure:)
I love the veg jalfrezi, had it to take away, asked for extra spicy and.. It was!! Loads of green chili, and what really wins it is it comes out thick, we like to leave a few hours and heat it up, and usually most curries are swimming in oil. Not this one. Try it if you like veg or vegan.
The best curry in London by far, ask them to play their music if they’re not already because they have amazing taste.

First thing to know, Hullabaloo is cash only, no cards. And that's really the only downside.
While there is limited seating between indoors and out the side is used week and can sweat as many as possible.
The food is excellent. The straightforward menu is clear and practically every dish is prepared vegan and gluten free. The only items with gluten are the starter samosa and the naans.
I had the tofu dansak with pilau rice and a samosa and had no complaints, flavour and texture are excellent.
Enjoyed this little place, good vegan Indian food quth a friendly vibe. Would go again.
One of great place to have Vegan Indian cuisine in central London at very reasonable price. Ambience is descent with good bollywood music. The seating is limited and sad to say that they just accept cash. After having main course do try Masala chai over here it's really good. Cleanliness can be improved over here.
Delicious, home-made, vegan/veg gluten-free friendly. Been eating there for 10 years...one of my London favourites.
Really healthy and wonderfully cooked food. Very authentic - the lunch deal is a steal and delicious. My favourite restaurant in Deptford
My new favourite restaurant in Deptford! Wonderful thalis at a great price in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, in a business clearly owned by people who really care. What more could one want?
