A beautiful atmosphere. Really lovely servers. Loved the complimentary prosecco. For five stars, the food could have a lot more flavour; particularly the calamari. Other than that, really lovely restaurant.

Food was delicious, service was warm, prompt and simply excellent. Ceder salad was abundant in regards of the portion, steak was a very reasonable size and the drinks are well made. Wislan served us and I was surprised he speaks many languages including my native Spanish tongue. Well done šš½

Very nice restaurant, good food and warm atmosphere. We were served by Valerio who did an excellent job of making us comfortable and explained the wine options clearly. I do recommend this place.

We had a birthday party of 16 ppl. All the dishes were delicious, very good portion sizes, and option of alfresco dining in autumn also a wonderful treat. Thanks so much to Wislan and all the team for looking after us. Grazie!

We came tonight for our friend's birthday dinner party and it was amazing. Wislan took care of us in the best way.

Looking forward to celebrate again with you guys soon.

Totally love the atmosphere and even more so the food!! Been here a few times and have had the same dish every-time, the only point I would mention is that on some visits a staff member would come over with cheese but on some visits, no one brings cheese and we all love a bit of parmesan š«£ except for that, the food and even the cocktails are š¤š»

Okay. Where to start. Heddon street has live music and lights which make the ambiance incredible. As a Mediterranean I can confirm the food, wine and most importantly the olive oil are of incredible quality. The staff are always friendly and attentive. I prefer dining outdoor(they have heaters and blankets) but the indoor decor is incredible and well thought out. Maki is always wonderful and so on the ball with us and our annoying needs(weāre those people and he accepts us stillā„ļø). Perfect for date nights as very romantic but also the booths are great for friends and families. Staff are wonderful with both kids and dogs. A must go-especially on an occasion as they always make you feel like the only ones in the room

Certainly!
Wislan's exemplary service elevated our evening to a delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive, making us feel valued and well-cared for. His genuine kindness was evident in every interaction, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Wislan went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, checking in on us regularly and addressing any requests with a smile. His dedication to customer satisfaction was truly commendable and made our dining experience memorable. We appreciate his outstanding service and look forward to returning, thanks to his exceptional hospitality.

Maki was a wonderful server was checking up on us constantly which was so considerate and nice also would have a good laugh atmosphere was amazing and venue is beautiful just like the food and was all reasonable priced you have to get the carbonara and the profiteroles here cos there to die for would 100000% come again

Celebrated my birthday at Piccolino and I loved it! Definitely recommend, the ambience, the food was really good. It was really fun and I felt very comfortable, cozy chairs and very nice staff. A very big thank you to Wislan to provide the best service for me and my guests on my special day. He speaks 4 languages and it was really nice when he interacted with my friends.

To finish off our New Years trip in London we came to this restaurant on the 2/1. The location is gorgeous which drew us into the restaurant. However the experience was awful.
We paid nearly Ā£50 for lobster which had obviously been sat out too long, you could smell it across the table. Part of the meat tasted ok which we ate so the staff said there was nothing they could do about the foul tasting, out of date lobster.
The smoked salmon pasta had no smoked salmon.
Both pastas were over cooked. I myself know when pasta is done with no culinary skills.
After choosing one option off of the lunch menu (Ā£13) they went on the put the full Ā£19 onto the bill and then tried to tell us that we hadnāt specified what menu we wanted the food off. We had used the lunch menu to point out the order.
The staff were extremely rude to us all, they were pretentious and clearly thought they were better than the paying customers.
Staff clearly had no āpeople skillsā, not knowing how to speak to customers or what good customer service is. The staff clearly had a problem about serving 4 young adults as they appeared much more polite to the older customers.
At the end of the meal they wanted to know why we wouldnāt pay the service charge. I began to explain why we were not happy and they walked off whilst I was talking.
If you expect a service charge - at least donāt stick your noses up at the customers

Stopped here for lunch with my mum yesterday, I had the Calzone with salami mozzarella fennel basil and tomato , The dough was lovely however there was far too much mozzarella and barely any basil and tomato which made for a very mushy and unpleasant taste, when I mentioned this to the waiter his reply was thatās good then itās a good comment to say there is too much rather than not enough laughed and walked away !
Also be aware of the prices,
We had roughly worked out the bill but when it came we were surprised as it had not mentioned that they then add the vat on top of the menu price and also a 12.5% service charge . I know itās central London so donāt expect something for nothing but over all found it a lot of money for not a lot.

Not overly impressed, overpriced even for London considering portions, wasnt asked what we would like to drink until the waitress arrived to take our food order, main dish arrived immediately after the starter, and to finalise things ther waiter tried to tell us a chocolate fudge cake was the chocolate and almond tart!! No taste of almond and last time I googled tart it definately described it as pastry based, no sign of any pastry in ours!! Cold draught from door being continually opened too. Will give this a miss next time ļæ½

Fabulous restaurant, excellent food, the chips were exceptional and steak cooked to perfection.Reasonable priced wine for a nice restaurant and that was good too. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We will visit again when we come to London.

We had lunch yesterday, sat outside and it was lovely. The food was great, the staff were friendly and the service good. Iāll definitely return.
Rosemary Conroy
Great menu, great service, lovely venue. No pressure to leave once you have finished your meal unlike a lot of other restaurants in London.
Joel Archard
Great atmosphere Great food Great service
Highly recommend anyone to go as it was excellent.

Here for my nieces hen night and was fantastic. Great food/ atmosphere and great staff
Rhys Bishop
Great food, Great staff, Great Wine! Thank you all for making mother's 50th special! Would definitely recommend.
Julie Martin
Would have like jug of tap water on the table rather than having to keep asking for top up
Other than that really enjoyed it
Charlotte Brereton
Food was amazing and service was very good. We bought a bottle of wine and the people sitting next to us as well. The bottles of wine accidentally got mixed up so all of our wine glasses were mixed. We and our neighbours both got a new free bottle and they were very friendly. I'm coming back for sure when I come back to London!
Christine Byrne
Brilliant meal and services highly recommend be seeing you guys soon. I thought the prices very fair .

With my two daughters having a girly day in London , we enjoyed our meal at Piccolino , lovely atmosphere , service and meal. We will be back.
Pam Steele
We have eaten at Piccolino several times but now feel the standard of food, service and toilets/area is not what we are used too! Not so sure we will return when we have such a wide choice to eat in this area.
Jack William Richardson
Service was appalling, we were rushed from start to finish, charged a compulsory service charge that was ridiculously unjustified and then they tried to charge us Ā£9 for two jugs of tap water - disgusting
Susan Millership
Poor table service.. poor customer service and the food was below standard.. manager was rude. .. will never go again. .

Nice place, calm, and cozy. Professional and friendly staff good service presentation of the food was good i oredered the risotto i must say it lacked taste
Jalpesh Thakrar
Good food, great service, large menu

Went for lunch and remember to get the loyalty card they offer as they load it with Ā£20.00 of credit for the next visit which is nice.

Booked in advance but there was plenty of space.

Service was great but one thing we were offered bread and olives which we agreed but later to find out they charge for both and this was not communicated and i usually expect bread and olives on the table when you are paying this amount for food. Worse still is neither of us likes olives so that was a waste. They need to change the policy on this as it is misleading.

We had the Rav Asparagi (Large) and Pollo Milanese, you can have some dishes either as small of large but again the option was not given when we ordered so there is some staff training to be done.

Service was still good and food arrived promptly and arrived hot. I think the Pollo Milanese was a little too hot to start. Food tasted great and even the bread selection to start was different and a nice touch (just should be open about there being a charge). There was a nice seasoning to the chicken breast and coating was just right. Really enjoyed it. Portion was great and large for Lunch.

Decor is not bad and large area inside and out. I think there is also a bar downstairs so will take a look and report next time.

Given the restaurant inside was almost empty it was a little noisy. You could have a conversation but i think when it gets busy this may be a little more difficult.

The menu is vast so many options from pasta and pizza to choose from and many dishes for vegetarians which is also another plus.

With the membership card giving Ā£20 credit for the next visit and a loyalty scheme to not just this but there other restaurants i think this is a great idea and will visit again for sure.

Total bill came in at around Ā£55.00 for two which is without starters or desserts or wine. But i think that is reasonable.

Definitely worth a visit especially if you want a late lunch and skip dinner or need something to last you to late night dinner.

3 of us ate there for lunch within 2 hours, 2 of us were violently sick for 2 days. I cannot emphasize enough - Stay away from this horrible restaurant.
Foodie Feeling
We went for a gorgeous meal at Piccolino for Valentines day last night. It's in a gorgeous setting on Heddon St, which is a cosy side street off Regent St that makes you feel like you're in Italy.

To start, we ordered the chilli and oil prawns on ciabatta. The prawns were delicious, would have preferred if the toast was a bit softer, but overall I was really impressed.

For mains we ordered penne arrabiatta and pollo alla valdostana, with sides of broccoli and fried zucchini. We both really enjoyed the food and I have no complaints!

The service was also really efficient. I'll definitely be returning to the lovely surroundings in Heddon St!
The Big Mouth
The duck which I had at the restaurant was delicious. A lot of the waiters are Italian and give the restaurant a nice vibe with their mannerisms and the way you are ushered to your table. That being said, service was not as great as I would have expected. There were two big tables celebrating different occasions which could have been a contributor to the lack of service we experienced. Overall, everyone's food looked good and I would go back if it wasn't for the abundance of other restaurants to try in London.
Craig Maxwell
Food was brilliant, mushroom risotto was delicious. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. The front of house was extremely friendly however the waiting staff were pretty lack lustre and didn't make the visit feel special, minor details, such as asking if you would like water for the table, Parmesan for over your meal, some bread nibbles while you wait, all very basic things that any restaurant should adhere to, we had to ask for them all ourselves, not a major issue, but details like that would make the visit special.
Jyoti Midha
Very nice ambience. We ordered garlic bread pizza, minestrone soup and a veg pizza. Soup tasted very bad. Garlic bread pizza was very hard and dry. Will prefer some other italian joint in future.
Ibrahim Erden
Tasteful and good variety of italian food. Breads, pasta and deserts are tasty, esp seafood pasta and penne arabiata. Recommended for lunch and dinner.
Kevin McLeish
Fantastic place. This restaurant has an excellent combination of atmosphere, great food and good wine. The food was divine. I had a pumpkin ravioli for lunch.Heavenly. The open plan configuration adds to the atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and service was first class. Highly recommended.

Piccolino - Pah!. Saturday night, central London, sensible budget, left it too late to book the recommended Clos Maggiore. We ended up at Piccolino, on Heddon Street, but I wasn't too worried as had spotted some nice sounding dishes on the menu and I was dining with some of my favourite people. What happened next?

We arrived for an early dinner (6pm) to a pretty empty restaurant. Maybe the fact that we asked to be moved away from the rain soaked / wind tunnel double doors to one of the myriad other tables gave us a black mark from the start, because from that moment on the waiting staff practiced the fine art of eye avoidance.

Those who know me well would not say I'm known for my patience, and I have to admit I am a stickler for good service, but on this occasion I feel I hardly need to say a word about the badly seasoned, over-facingly large sausage & fennel risotto, or the strange bread holding racks which blocked cross table conversation, because the terrible service defined the restaurant in my mind.

I'm being harsh, my friend loved her Spaghetti alla Vongole and the wine was nice. But the fact that it took us three hours to have bread, one course and a coffee, is pretty mystifying, no?

Not much more to say, I loved the company, but wished we'd been able to try the Clos Maggiore!

Food: 5/10
Value for Money: 6/10
Service: 2/10

Would I go again? Not on your nelly!

http://bit.ly/azWohJ

R Scott. Great place, with a buzzy vibe, us it for business lunches as well as after work drinks. Outside terrace is great in the summer and staff are really friendly

And I guess if you were looking for the neighbourhood restaurant with great service, this would be it. But if you were looking for great gastronomy, then youāre probably unlikely to find it.
WhereAndNow
Heddon Street comes alive in summer and by far the largest of all the terrace-style dining options here is Piccolino. Three of us went to enjoy the start of summer with Camparis and Pinot Grigios galore and threw in a bit of dining to stave off the alcoho

Beautifully paired with modern contemporary design & deep flavoursome food, Piccolino is a gem in the bustling area of Regents Street. Tucked away from the madness of shoppers, is a little street is a small road of restaurants, butPucolino stands out amongst the rest due to its high standard of food, and impeccable taste of design, this is a must go for those who like the bridge between casual and fine dining

- The restaurant itself was not bad . It was quite crowded during lunch time so you could either sit downstairs which is quite depressing or outside where there are heaters as well so no issues with that!
- Service was good with "warm" and smiling staff.
- Food was good with a good selection of fresh fish, pasta and pizza.
- Wine list was OK, nothing special but it could fulfill your needs!
- If you are smoker then you can definitely sit outside and enjoy your meal there with no problems at all. Heaters are always on so even if it is cold - it still feels alright.
- Prices are a bit on the high-ish level so have that in mind.
- All in all i would recommend that restaurant if you happen to be in the area and you want something not touristic

Piccolino itself is nestled amongst a small set of restaurants in Heddon Street, just off Regent Street. The quiet courtyard feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, which accompanied with the fairy lights hanging above, gives it an almost fairytale-like quality. When we arrived at Piccolino we were greeted by the hostess who kindly showed us down to the cicchetti bar in the basement. The bar has just been renovated in a somewhat contemporary take on art deco.Ā

We were offered a selection of cichetti as we waited on two bellinis at the bar. I started with the 'bruschetta con burrito e fichi' (Turkish black fig on mozzarella and toasted ciabatta), which was refreshing, but slightly bland. However we followed it with a slice of crispy 'picante pizzette' (spicy calabrian sausage, roast red pepper, tomato and mozzarella pizza slice), which had tons of flavour - namely spice. It sat on the verge of being too hot for me to handle, but that meant I enjoyed it even more. Of course you can't have Italian without Arancini, and the 'Arancini Bolognese' (Sicilian risotto rice fritter, beef ragu, peas and mozzarella cheese) was not a let down. The 'spiedini di pollo' (skewered chicken wrapped in pancetta) was tender, juicy, and perfectly salty. It was my favourite, alongside the 'zucca fritta' (crispy fried pumpkin and sage) which was so incredibly delicious I was left craving more - the foodie's sign of a perfect dish. Oh yes, the bellinis! As far as cocktails go, it wasn't the best bellini Ive ever had, but it wasn't the worst.

For my first taste of cichetti I was pleasantly surprised. The experience left me wanting more, as did the menu. I love sharing food and connecting over it, so I can't think of anything better than heading to the bar after an evening of press events. I'll certainly be going back, and I'll be bringing my friends with me.

[I was invited to try the new Cicchetti menu by Piccolino, therefore I did not pay for anything. However all words and images are still my own]

Food: Italian

Price: Around Ā£50 for two people

Atmosphere: Elegant, Cosy

Review: This is one of the best restaurants in London. Located in the romantic Heddon Street, Piccolino is a restaurant that you absolutely need to try. The team is very nice and gives you great service . Inside the restaurant , the decor is very stylish and the long bar invites you to enjoy a drink before dinner.

The place has a menu "A la carte ", but also a menu for Ā£ 32 for 3 courses . I had the bruschetta , salmon and tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious ! I was complete at the end of the meal. The dishes were very nice , everything was served very quickly .
I had friends who have ordered a main course and it was enough, for a meal with pasta, the cost was around Ā£ 12 which is reasonable for the area and the size of its dishes.

I highly recommend this place where you can go for a business meeting, a date or a family reunion .
Sandra Toivo
A very standard Italian restaurant.Ā Heddon street is rather romantic at night with loads of fairy lights, and so if you are planning on going on a date, then this might be the place, purely for the atmospheres sake.

The food is classic and tasty although a little on the pricey side.Ā But again, if you are on a date, you probably don't wanna come across as skimpy!

Piccolino Restaurant brings a true taste of Italy! Located in the Heart of London, where the main shopping are is- Regent Street you are going to find Piccolino!
The restaurant offers a various combinations of Italian Dishes as classic and modern ones, with open outdoor seating with comfortable chairs and sofas.Ā
I can recommend to order the Bruschetta connfunghi and the Veal Milanese which were huge and delicious. The services were Great as well.Ā
The only negative fact is that they do not have home delivery or take away but definetely a great place to visit!
Debra
Good Italian food. Great in the summer when you can get a table outside. Highest stools around the bar so if you're petite like me, it's a bit of a nightmare.

I Have previously visited Piccolino's in Manchester, I choose their one of the branches restaurant for my birthday dinner with friends. We were very well looked after and the food was really very good. We noticed a large number of Italians were eating there and I feel it is always a good sign when one finds this to be the case. I believe it is really a traditional taste they serve unlike other Italian places I had the sea bass - it was fabulous. I would just like the main dishes to come with a few vegetables. These had to be ordered separately. The staff was very kind and friendly and also they explained in detail about the dish ordered by us, The price was
OK but My overall experience was a very enjoyable and satisfactory. I will most definitely visit again to Piccolino's.
