It's the bar and lounge of the Waldorf, thus quality of service, food and beverage are obviously outsdanding. And it wasn't too pricey.

Had an excellent time in this classy upmarket old school bar at the gorgeous Waldorf. Excellent service, quality drinks and beautifully curated. Will absolutely return to Good Godfrey's!

I am assuming that some of these reviews about service are dating back to when we were reopening after COVID and everyone was struggling to figure out our new world. My experience was very good, I was staying in the hotel and popped in for a drink and an appie and had a delightful time. Staff was busy (large event at the hotel also) but dining in a wood paneled room looking out on London? Yes, please. Flatbread was lovely and the drinks are well crafted.

Fantastic bar for cocktails and spirits. The bartender from Italy (Daniel) is a master of his craft and a great character. Homemade bitters and syrups really enhance each cocktail. The addition of smoked cinnamon stick to my old fashioned was a revelation. Try the (not yet on the menu) "2018" for something that is all at once; refreshing, delicious and envigorating.
