The food here was really great! Everything tasted so perfect! We ordered two courses each (sans dessert) and since it was my birthday, they gave complimentary chocolates for dessert. Our bill split equally by 6 people was £70.8. It’s small and feels like a family restaurant. If I’m ever in London again, will definitely go back!

L'Aventure offered a truly exceptional dining experience. The onion tart, with its perfect cooking and balanced goat cheese, was a unique and delightful starter. The main course, featuring the exceptional veal, was a feast for both the palate and the eyes with its remarkable presentation.
What's worth noting is that L'Aventure follows a set menu format, allowing you to choose between various combinations. You can opt for a starter and a main course, or go for the full experience with a starter, main course, and a delectable dessert, like the phenomenal apple tart. While L'Aventure may be on the pricier side, the quality, presentation, and range of options in the set menu make it unquestionably worth the investment for a truly unforgettable culinary journey.

Went to L'Aventure in May for my son's B'day and we loved every second of our time. The food, the ambience and the whole experience was a pleasure. We will be going back.

A cozy intimate French bistro just down Abbey Road that has very reasonable prices, a lovely staff and garden setting and excellent cuisine. Highly recommended

Amazing. The food was completely mind blowing and amazing friendly service. The ambience feels very mysterious and mystical due to nice brick rustic vibes and dim lighting.

Well, that was the best lunch this year - smoked salmon crepes, the tenderest lamb and a delicious pavarois. I wish I lived in London to enjoy this restaurant more. It never disappoints.

An amazing night out. If you're looking for best value for you money, try L'Aventure. There is a wine list that could bring you to your knees and the food is made with care, skill and the best of ingrediants. Great for an evening with your more sophisticated friends or your special someone. The new patio is beautiful!

Rude and Pretentious. Starting with the positives - the food is good, not great but good. There is also a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Now the negatives - the manageress was extremely rude. In fact I have never been spoken to so rudely. That set the tone for the meal and is not how a 'local' restaurant should be run. The restaurant is also very pretentious. I understand that this is a french restaurant but to have the entire menu written in french just makes life difficult if you are not a francophone. It is also near illegible. The portions are also very small, especially considering the price (two courses for £31). To top it all off, they had overcharged us by £20 on the bill.I will not be returning

L'Aventure was the highlight of the two week stay in London. My wife, sister, friend and mother were treated like family from the moment we stepped in the fantastic homey setting. We started with champagne and an assortment of wonderful breads, I could go over each bite of food that I had but that might be a bit of an overkill. The owner Catrine offered us a wonderful description of each item and then produced the most amazing meal, I can't thank her enough.

I first went to l'Aventure 29 years ago at it's best the staff and food are considerably talented with sublime French cuisine and utterly romantic that has never betrayed it's origins tovpalate and romance. It is expensive and has maintained a delicious reputation
