Levi Roots Caribbean Smokehouse - London - Photo album

This restaurant serves vibrant and delicious caribbean food, there's a good variety on the menu with the centrepiece being the meat cooked in the smoker for 14 hours. We ordered slow cook beef short rib and jerk chicken for the main and side dish: rice, plantain and casava fries. - The chicken was
My last visit would've attracted 5 stars. This visit was more like 3 but I'm confident that that was a blip. Perhaps they've not quite worked out how to keep the smoked beef moist and juicy after its reached the perfect temperature. My recommendation would be to stick with the classics for now. Ste
Service great from Francis. Slow cooked smoke chicken a little pink. But for the most part food was good. Disappointed not to see more people of Africa Caribbean orgin in the kitchen and in a management role on the floor. Decore of bathrooms was fun and a great look.
I've eaten here several times and I love ❤️ it. I've never had a bad experience. My food always tastes yummy and to be honest if the food or servers are running slow ...... that just gives me and whoever I'm with more time to talk. I'm looking forward to working my way through the new vegetarian/veg
Amazing atmosphere ,love the decor, live DJ,2 acts & Levi Roots performed.Great music, interesting cocktails, good food though jerk chicken wings not spicy nor tender enough, however the roti & plantain was amazing.Customer services good! I highly recommend!😁🥗🍹
DELICIOUS!!! 3 of us went. Saturday night. It was busy. No tables but they took our number. Said 30 minute wait. 5minutes in we got our text to say table was ready. Was served drinks quickly. So many rum cocktails. Goat curry was delicious and just a good amount of spicy for someone who doesn't eat
We all absolutely loved the food. Great selection, starters were gorgeous and the main meals divine. Will go again for a taste of the Caribbean
Food here is really delicious, with lots of options and something to suit everyone. Wheelchair friendly, we hadn’t booked a table on a busy night however some fellow dinners willingly offered their more accessible and larger table so we could fit our friend extra large wheelchair. The food was good
Visited this restaurant with my family and it was really nice experience. The food was really good and we will definitely be back now that they have introduced a vegan menu which I cannot wait to try. Also, kudos to Levi Roots who was in the restaurant when we were there checking that things were r
A nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is tasty and service was quick. Liked the choco chick in breadcrumbs, it's was tasty. The Levi Roots hot sauce is very hot!!!
Good food, lovely decor, friendly staff and music! The only thing I didn’t liked was the Levi Roots sauce. I am from The Netherlands and unfortunately there are not many Caribean restaurants over here, so this was a good experience. Thank you :).
Absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff are friendly, we received our food in a reasonable time. The food was delicious I had the sea bass, my sister had the jerk chicken, and rice and peas, the only bad thing to say was the portion of rice was not enough, other than that I would definitely retu
Good quality food served in a fantastic ambience. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Music was also excellent, background play list was top notch. Good value for money, 4 adults, all drinking, less than £100.
The atmosphere is really fun and the music they played was upbeat. The service was efficient and professional. Got to meet Levi, the owner himself and he made you feel really welcome which was sweet. The food portion was just right and really tasty.
Located in Stratford Westfield this is a great joint to grab some authentic Caribbean food with awesome beats to groove along to in the background. We decided to go with a platter to get a bit of everything and we were not disappointed. The pulled chicken was dry and we couldn’t eat it but aside fro
Good food The service depends on how busy they are .l been on a Friday night. The portion could be bigger.eg the rice and pea could not fill a six year old child . l get the impression that it's for people that want to try Caribbean food for the first time. if that is the case l would recommend it.
Very colourful and vibrant place to eat with happy and friendly staff who enjoy their work and are able to make recommendations on foods. Menu was reasonably priced and food was quite delicious. Would go again.
