Ate here for the first time this evening. Excellent food - fresh, tasty and very generous portions. Reasonably priced so great value for money. The waitresses were friendly, polite and attentive. Special thanks to Christina. Our go to local restaurant now.

This place is a hidden gem! Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious & the seafood sharing platter was amazing. So glad we have found this place. We will definitely be back regularly. Also staff were extremely friendly & attentive

What a lovely little restaurant, we had been looking for somewhere with good quality seafood... we went through a ton of restaurants and the reviews were awful. Stumbled across this place and honestly was the best decision we could have made. The food was outstanding, the staff were friendly and made you feel so welcome. Would deffo recommend and will be a returning customer! Thank you for the lovely evening for my partners birthday!

What an amazing little restaurant right on our doorstep! Intimate with very friendly staff. The food was delicious and of a very high standard.. the king prawn starter, the seafood linguine and the aubergine with feta were outstanding and to finish it off the sticky toffee pudding. I am def going back as there are a few more dishes I would like to try on the menu!

I was on Friday night with my partner and we had halibut and venison steak from the special board.,which it was absolutely delicious. !!! I will have to say this place is doing the best food in north London.. definitely will be back to try the Sunday roast.service also is attentive ...👏👏

The Waves restaurant never disappoints me. The food is unbelievable and tastes amazing. If you're a sea food lover I'd highly recommend trying this cute, friendly restaurant. The service is 100% and always makes me feel very welcome. Cant wait to come back !

My husband and I had lunch at The Waves and were really impressed with the quality of seafood on offer! So glad to have a seafood place back in Southgate, even if it's somewhat tucked away. The only negative for me was the quantity of salt in my seafood linguine - take it easy on the salt and I would come back to give five stars!

Went to The Waves for a set lunch with a friend. We weren't disappointed. All the dishes were cooked fresh, good portions and very tasty. It's lovely to have a fish restaurant back at Southgate. Lunch was very reasonable too priced at £13 excluding drinks. We would definitely recommend and visit again.

What can I say?!!
To say I highly recommend this restaurant is an understatement.
I have been there to eat on four different occasions with friends and family(one being to celebrate a birthday). Each time trying something new from the amazing menu, and each time looking forward to going back!
