The York - London - Photo album

Having a quick one night tour of London including watching The Who last night at the O2. Have walked along the Regent's canal for 7 miles and now having a well earned pint and Aperol Spritz . Smart typical London pub always well presented with lovely flowers outside and pleasant staff....bit of a sh
A lovely pub near Angel tube station. We went in for a drink on our way back to the hotel on a Thursday evening, so it was very crowded and busy, but this didn't prevent us from enjoying a pint of Huntington's (seem to be their partner brewery) and a glass of cider. Bonus point : you can enjoy your
Large, single room corner pub, close to Angel Underground Station. Also a nice seating area out front. Nicholson’s-owned, so a good selection of cask ales and craft beers, but fairly average pub grub. My London Pride was well kept. Gets very busy after work but always plenty of staff, so easy to
Really good place to be. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Excellent food and drink - husband said it was the best pub meal he'd had in a very long time. A lovely experience
Such polite staff. Especially the lady serving us. Food was lovley! Definitely recommend.
The York is the pub we always use when visiting the 02. It can get busy but the staff are always friendly and efficient. The menu, while not extensive is what you would expect - "pub grub" and the food is always good and delivered with the minimum of delay no matter how busy the bar is. If I had to

For those living in the area, I find the beers slightly more expensive than in other pubs nearby, nothing exorbitant either. The staff are friendly and efficient. There are rarely empty tables outside on some days of the week and times. This is a very popular and well-known pub in the area.
A great English pub! The staff was super nice and helpful. Everyone was able to find something they liked and my Dad had a great pint. This is a very popular place. So if you want to sit outside you might want to get there before everyone gets out of work.
Wow wow wow As an Exec head chef/FDM myself, I can honestly say. I came for the rugby on Sunday and decided to try one of their 5 plate platters between me and my Dad. Not gonna lie guys, service and food were bloody fantastic. First time in many years that I’ve said I’d come back and order the same
