I went for dinner at The Ivy in St John's Wood with my daughter and granddaughters for my birthday, and I can only say that the whole experience was absolutely top-notch, from the clean and cosy ambient, the presentation of the food and service , all perfect . The members of staff were lovely, accommodating and very professional. Thank you for making this occasion so memorable. I will definitely go back soon . 😃

If I could give my whole experience at The Ivy, St John's Wood a 10. I would. Everything from start to finish was outstanding. I booked for my son, myself and my partner for my partner's birthday and even called the restaurant up a few hours before arriving to ask if I could have a dessert brought out with a candle. The waiter that answered the phone was so polite and said he'll make a note of it. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door and was shown to our seats. They sat us in a nice corner, which was very comfortable. The waiter came over and took our order and brought our food and drink out. I opted for the Fish n Chips, which was absolutely cooked to perfection. The fish was flaky and so tasty and don't get me started on the chips. Yes chips!! My partner and our son went for the Ivy burger, which I heard was delicious. When we finished, the waiter cleared the table and surprised my partner with a beautiful cake and candle. We had ordered the creme brûlee as well, which was simply divine. Even thought the restaurant was busy for a Monday, that didn't stop the service from being fantastic. All the staff members were on point, smart and extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend The Ivy, St John's Wood. Ps: This is the 2nd Ivy I've been too. The first one was in Bishopsgate and that was another outstanding one. Thank You for making my partner's birthday a brilliant one. He's still talking about it to this very day. ☺️

My sister and brother in law have begun to take my brother, who is wheelchair bound, to this restaurant. They have just left having enjoyed brunch there. The staff, as well as offering great service, are always super kind to my brother. Today Vincent took care of everything for them and deserves a special big thanks. The food, as always, was amazing.

We ate outside in front of the The Ivy on a very warm Summer evening and very much enjoyed the "pavement culture" experience and watching the world as it drifted past our table. Overall, the food was excellent, the service could not have been friendlier and the bill, which was by means cheap, was fair. With respect to the service, I can honestly say that there are few restaurants that get this right but here they did - they were attentive without being intrusive, they were efficient without rushing us and very rarely have I seen the manager himself visiting all the tables for a quick chat and to make sure everything was to guests' liking, but here he did. With respect to the food, it's a given that The Ivy desserts are exciting and a bit different, but this is also true of the other courses and we both ordered foods that we would not have guessed we would order had you asked us beforehand what we would like. When the food came, we were really enjoyed what was served and the way it was served and presented. The acid test, would we go back? Yes we would.

We eat in Ivory cafes quite a lot, its a good staple... the food is awesome, you will see from the pics a children's burger, its impressive. Service is generally very good, only two minor things... we told the yellow floral matradee we had a birthday and they normally do a birthday candle, this didn't happen so missed the birthday vibe. Also, this is a traditional English restaurant, who serves the bread plate on the right hand side, especially in the Ivy... Apart from that, it was great, really enjoyed and food is always great...

What makes me laugh here is many people have commented on the poor service, I am going to say the same. Management are reading it as they are responding expressing how sorry they are but nothing is done? I expect the same comment but guess they won't care to do anything about it! The positives, lovely restaurant. Pretty and elegant. Reasonably clean but could be better. Loved the decor. I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Lovely vibe, nice ambience and cool music. Good menu from eggs to pancakes, smoothies and loads more. They display calories which is useful. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with the black americano was good. Well presented and a good size portion so justifies the price. They also gave a good piece of salmon. It was nice and simple and if like me you are on a high protein diet, then this is a good choice with no bread! I couldn't fault the food. The americano was spot on. Even looking around at other diners, everything looked nice. The negatives, my americano was slightly spilt and the one side of the cup had coffee splat down it. At a restaurant of this standard, they could have cleaned this up before serving it. No care. My worry was that a lot of places now ask about dietary restrictions or allergies but staff had no concern here. My main issue was service. I found the waiters snobby and rude. Almost robotic like they were trained rather than having a personality or genuine care for the customer. I arrived and was asked nearly four times within five minutes what I wanted to order. Give me a chance to take my jacket off, relax and look at the menu! It was like they were rushing you. Once I ordered, my coffee and food came out quite quickly in a timely manner but I was totally ignored. I think staff need a balance between being too much and giving the customer space. They need to be way more friendlier rather than having this arrogant and snobby attitude. I don't see what the point of having a contact email is, I emailed them a few days before as there is no phone number and I got no response. Again shows how they do not value customers!

Gorgeous restaurant in Primerose Hill, probably one of the best Ivy's I've been to. Service was great, staff was ready to assist me for any matter. I booked a table for afternoon tea and it was not available at that time, but they made sure to satisfy my request the best they could. I eventually stayed for dinner as well and had delicious truffle fettuccine with a gold leaf. The Crème brulee was delicious. Wide cocktail selection and elegant atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

Delicious food and incredibly beautiful premises. The place has a fantastic atmosphere and makes you wanna go back asap! I was very happy to see they offered a full vegetarian and vegan menu, I had trouble choosing what to order as too many choices sounds great! Can’t wait to go again!

We came to Ivy as a family to celebrate a birthday. We reserved a dedicated room, which allowed us to stay separated from other tables, soundproofing our party 👍🏼 The food was wonderful - by far the best food on St.John's Wood High Street ⭐ Drinks were okay and service was good. At times a bit slower than what we are used to. If you are after reasonable portions of delicious quality - look no further. A fairly expensive venue, but we definitely will be coming again. Thank you
