Twas a hipster's paradise and an Instagramer's dream, but otherwise that charcoal coconut knocked my socks off. It was subtle and refreshing, and the black cone was an awesome touch!

Quite a funky ice creamery. It is located at Box Park in Shoreditch which are a bunch of refitted shopping containers. It’s quite squeeze in there but they pump out all types of soft serves, mini freakshakes, and beverages. They’re all full of whimsy and really fun.
It was quite hard deciding what I wanted but the charcoal coconut flavour took my fancy. I had the Charcoal Coconut Mini Freakshake which had aforementioned charcoal coconut soft serve, chocolate sauce, oreo, cream, and honeycomb. Topped with a dark cone. Looked amazing and tasted just as good. I stared in wonderment at other creations especially the Cloud 9 topped with a candyfloss crown.

Ooohhh this place is just yummiee..!! Its a small pop up store as soon as you get out of the station.. They have some crazy options with sundaes.. With a marshmallow on top, various toppings to choose from.. I just had a simple pistachio swirled with charcoal coconut with nuts as toppings.. I hate coconut flavour so i was a bit skeptical about this one (bought it only for the colour) 🤪
But surprisingly, it tasted nothing like coconut and was yumm!!😍

Cute little ice cream shop that serves a variety of soft serve flavours in cones, sundaes or freakshakes. And a bunch of toppings you can add. I had vanilla with salted caramel pieces and a toasted marshmallow. The marshmallow was 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Love it here!!! So much to choose from and their soft serves are amazing!!!! Definitely love the toppings choices! Also it's a cute little store. Went there when it first launched and had 50% off! I would say it can be a bit pricey tho.

Really enjoyed the charcoal coconut and matcha flavours. The matcha flavour is so strong and addictive. Good value for money. Worth a visit :).
The only place in London that does different flavours of soft serve, if you crave for one please go for it! They have two permanent flavours matcha, and charcoal. Weekly flavours differ every week you have to check out their insta page! Personally tried the matcha, taro, and charcoal, although charcoal looks cool but lack a taste of it, taro is good but just a little sweet for me, and I would prefer a little more matcha kicks for that matcha soft serve. But overall it's a nice lil place to chill in boxpark =)
Now, now! Just before we bid the summer away, to welcome the falling leaves from trees going brown transitioning to autumn. We must enjoy the warm weather as it last. That means trips to the seaside and eating as much ice cream as we can. So head down to Softserve Society at Boxpark in Shoreditch for the most delicious premium soft serve ice cream you can get in London.
Another matcha dessert place in London! I ordered matcha freakshake because I was looking for something different from other freakshakes in London. Was a bit disappointed with the shake as it was obvious that there was too much milk and this reduces the matcha flavour 😖 On a positive note, chiffon cake, azuki (red beans) and cookies were yummy and they go wonderfully well with the shake 😋
Cute place for milkshakes, unique ice cream creations and more. We popped in after dinner to check it out. I ordered a boring cone vanilla/vegan pandan one. Ice cream is silky smooth not too sugary sweet. Appreciate the vegan choice. It melted a bit quicker then i expected, maybe i am just too slow. Next time i ll go with just the pandan.
The best soft serve I’ve had in my life ! Interestingly it’s not exactly soft serve - it’s somewhere in the middle. The staff are really friendly and the location is easily accessible.
I had the charcoal coconut brownie sundae two days in a row !! Can not get enough of their brownie - honestly the fudgiest brownie in London

It’s very yummy and creamy I have had the Matcha ice cream with a waffle and the taste was extremely delicious. I think it was a bit heavy so next times I’ll be ordering the Matcha ice cream alone.

Service was a bit slow with no a knowledge meant from the staff while we were waiting with no one else in the place.
Price is a bit high for the portion.
Matcha was okay - same quality with the £2 matcha soft serve you can get in China town but more than double the price in here.
Vanilla was good but nothing special.
They do very nice soft serve. I tried berry sauce with meringue this day, and it made me want to come back to try all others again. They do hot drinks as well, which is very nice to have with ice cream. Waffles were also nice. Cake toasted with chocolate and peanut butter sauce. You can add ice cream on it as well.
Matcha and red bean are my all time favorite and Soft Serve Society does not disappoint me. They have wide range of flavors and options. The ice cream is creamy and not too sweet.
I had charcoal coconut in a cone. It tasted like coconut and contained plenty of flavour.
Good quality soft serve of a large portion size.
Perhaps one or two more flavour choices would improve the offering.
The best soft serve ice cream I’ve ever had! I love trying out their new flavours but they always have the matcha and charcoal flavours that are divine.
The options make it hard to decide what to go for. I wanted EVERYTHING. Ended up with the Charcoal Coconut Freakshake and loved it. Was a tad too much for me but overall good choice. Will be back!
