Harar Restaurant - London - Photo album

I am born and raised in Ethiopia also lived in the United States for several years. I can confirm that the food is authentic Ethiopian and has not been westernized. Our server Bisrat was very friendly and the meal was followed by a complementary Ethiopian popcorn 🍿. Great service and food overall.
Nice place had the place all to ourselves as we went on random day at 2pm. This was our first time trying Etheopeon food so wanted to know what it tasted like, we went for the Vegan option for 2 people. Lots of unique flavors 🙂 Quick tube ride from central London (we were staying at the Hilton nr e
Immediately upon entering the restaurant I was struck by the delicious smell of the food. We had been climbing locally at Vauxwall West so were both hungry. We ordered the Fisig Beyaynetu (mixed platter) & Alicha Fitfit (lamb stew). Both were really tasty and a good sized portion. I also tried the h
The lady was so nice and helpful! We had the platter to share and it was plenty of food! 😍 everything was so tasty!
Really delicious Ethiopian food - we got the platters to share and there are plenty of meat and vegetarian / vegan options!
Great restaurant with delicious dishes! It was my first trying Ethiopian food and WOW! Il be coming back 100%. The lady is so welcoming and lovely, a gem in Vauxhall worth the try!
Great food! I'm no expert but it felt authentically Ethiopian and a new eating experience for us. Great food, a nice welcome and good vegetarian and vegan options.
Great injera. I had the vegetarian one. Very laid back. The lady was super nice and welcoming. If you never tried Ethiopian food, here’s the place. Maybe too spicy for some people. I came early and they still served me very quickly.
Food was amazing, very tasty and lovely variety. We had the Harar special. Drinks really good. If you want an Ethiopian beer go for the Habesha as it was by far the nicer of the two. Partner had honey wine which was very good. Loses a star due to waiting time. Everything took ages, which wasn’t the
Delicious Ethiopian food, beer, and coffee served with a smile. Will definitely be back with my friends!
The food was amazing. Definitely coming back here. Staff were lovely but service was a little slow. This won't stop me from coming back! The price was very reasonable. I can't express how good the food is!!
Tegeste the owner and her staff will look after you well. Great food, big portions and really nice Tej or Meise. Best Habesha restaurant in South London. It does tend to get busy so make sure you're not in a rush.
Amazing food !!! I've never tried anything like Ethiopian food, but glad I gave it a go. I ordered the special platter which had a mixture of meat and vegan dishes. The staff at the restaurant were absolutely delightful and were patient in answering all my questions.
Would give 10 stars if I could! Where do I start...the wonderful and quick service (by lovely Mahider) to the most delightful dishes every time I come to eat and the amazing coffee ceremony where they roast the beans in front of you! I love that they never skip on quality so please visit when you ha
The service and the food are very delicious. It's one of the best here in London. It is a must try wawwww
Amazing food especially the Doro Wot. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavour and authenticity!! Great staff and customer service. Looking forward to coming back!!!!
First time trying Ethiopian cuisine and it was an absolute hit! Staff are lovely and welcoming. We were offered freshly roasted coffee that was out of this world. Highly recommend. 10/10.
Food was very delicious especially the Tibs, and the Injera was delicious, with service being excellent from Serke, and amazing Ethiopian music atmosphere to make it a nice sitting to enjoy the food.
Really authentic and good food. Staff is lovely.
