The sharing platters of fried chicken and beery cheesy chips are to die for. Along with a good selection of beers, whiskys and cocktails in a really nice setting it's a must visit in West Hampstead.
A hidden gem right near the tube station, The Gallery features good eats and good cocktails. Over two stories, the Gallery's top floor is really more of a cozy balconette that looks over the floor below.
Unique and well crafted drinks.
I used to love this tucked away little restaurant when I used to live around the corner. There were times we had a night of drinks and showed up again in the afternoon for brunch. They have a good variety of burgers, beer battered fish and chips as well as salads.
If you plan to show up a bit late for just drinks, this place gets crowded and noisy real fast and someone just might knock over a glass of red on your white jumper, so always find a safe spot to sit. That being said, it is always one of my favourites in the area and a must check out.

The Gallery is tucked away off West End Lane, and is one of the livelier places to go in West Hampstead for post-work drinks or a weekend booze-and-grub fest.
It's a cute space, with tables on a mezzanine upstairs, a large space in the basement and people sitting with their legs peeking through the windows when it's sunny. Serving wine, a good selection of cocktails priced around £7 (or £5 until 10pm on their popular cocktail club Thursdays) and surprisingly good food, it delivers a winning formula.
A great choice to accompany drinks is their tapas selection, which you can choose 4 of for £20. Particular favourites sampled there include crispy pulled pork croquettes, grilled halloumi with an incredible berry jam, sweet potato fries, and salt & pepper squid.
The portion sizes are generous, so 4 between 2 of you is a LOT of food, but at a tenner each good value. Alternatively you can get 3 for £15.50. I haven't tried their large plates (burgers, fishcakes and the likes) or Sunday roasts but if they are of similar quality you won't be disappointed.
I booked out the basement for a party, and would 1000% recommend. Everything was so smooth in the lead-up and on the night - all of the staff were so friendly throughout. Reasonable minimum spend & booking fee. The space is really great with a good sound system (and the ability to play your own music), good lighting and great food/drinks options. Definitely consider if you're planning a party!
A delightful bar, The Gallery offers a fine array of kegged beers, illustrated by the country's best Beer Badges! Lovely service and lovely staff. The place has a mezzanine, brilliant! A lovely small bar close to the underground, a great place for a beer. Sorry to the real drinkers on this occasion.
Great waffle served quickly and tasted great! Plenty of different options for toppings but in the end my sweet tooth won out
Quirky bar with a unique twist. Very calm and laid back and full of records which gives it a touch of elegance and taste. There's a huge choice of drinks and also a very nice mezzanine bar to drink from which is fun and gives you a small space of exclusivity. There's a huge space downstairs too which they use to host special events like a pin quiz on Wednesday. I ordered a glass of wine and vodka soda (single) for just over £10.
Quirky bar - perfect for drinks and a few snacks. If your after a dinner venue I wouldn’t suggest it. The menu was small but the food was fantastic! Definitely more of a bar rather than a restaurant. We sat up in the gallery which had a lovely vibe. Bar staff were attentive and we had a tab which worked great for us! Craft beer on tap was nice but I’d recommend asking to try a bit before you buy a pint!
Staff were lovely and the atmosphere is great. Though the food menu isn't huge, the few items we tried were delicious - especially the fried chicken and sriracha cauliflower. Good beer selection.
Really nice chilled out bar. We tried the fried chicken, cauliflower wings and the jelapeno fries which were all amazing. Had a couple of beers and some cocktails. Really nice bar staff.
Great brunch! Had front windows open to let in sun and air, cozy medium sized dining room/bar area with another space downstairs large enough to sit at least two groups. Friendly and quick service from our waitress. Great waffles in sweet or savoury with a variety of toppings from chicken to banana, pecans and bacon. Delicious drinks with bottomless cocktail option (I didn't try this). Definitely a nice way to break in a Sunday morning.

Great selection of draft beers - IPA’s etc - and always something interesting playing on the sound system. Great in the sunshine with huge windows opened to let the summer in
What a super cute bar! Downstairs is cozy and they even have a few board games you can play. The drinks were delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the fried chicken!! It was juicy, crunchy, tender, and so freaking yummy! Will definitely come back

West Ealings hidden Gem. This bar has everything for a date night or a catchup with friends It's a fabulous bar with great beer selection and the food is superb. I love the atmosphere and the staff are excellent if you're unsure what to drink, ask them and they will be more than willing to help. Also great music in the background not too noisy. Love this place and recommend it to everyone.
Great range of local IPAs and plenty of seating downstairs. Really handily located just around the corner from the tube stop. Friendly staff!
