Haven't had the pleasure of visiting yet but wow! The way you handled the whinging Mr. Lattarulo puts you at the top of my bucket list! KUDOS and best luck in your future!
Best place in London for a breakfast and beer. Friendly staff, great food and a good wee atmosphere
Great jazz lovely little gem in new cross. Well worth a visit x
a lovely spot, I like to visit when over from Ireland, lovely staff, fair prices, good food. What's not to like.
Changed the menu and now I'm never coming back thanks xxxxx
Absolutely gorgeous vegan burger, lovely atmosphere and very friendly service. Will be back!!
Rivals the best places I've eaten through out the world. Amazing vibe and delicious meals.
Lovely cafe , great food , especially English breakfast !!! Staff very polite and friendly !! My favourite local cafe ❤️
Genuinely the nicest food I've ever eaten, thank you x
I judge a cafe by the quality of its sausages. None of that cheap cardboard tasting crap here. Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Nice!
Giving you five stars in anticipation of my visit (is that allowed? Please don't let Roberto the lemon-grass loving fool know - he might call the cops!)
Friendly staff, great food and a nice little atmosphere. Will definitely be going back
Good place for a lunch 5min walk from both New Cross Gate/New Cross stations; it offers a wide choice of vegetarian/vegan friendly dishes i.ex falafel wrap, veg burger or salad. Good custmer service. I really like a decor & atmosphere and love being served a tea in a little china cup😁. Not a major issue but personally i find the music there a bit too loud if you try to talk or read a book.
Interesting selection of food which changes frequently! Overall really tasty and cosy vibes inside
The nicest wee place ever! Always plays amazing music (60s-70s mainly) that puts you in a fab mood. Amazing proper home made breakfast that looks and tastes great. And the staff are super friendly and groovy too. I always come back here when in the area.
Welcoming service and friendly atmosphere. The food turned up swiftly, however I ordered the eggs royale and note thay they weren't poached eggs, they come with soft boiled instead. When I cut into them, they were hard boiled and I let out a little sigh of disappointment... which was in fact picked up by the chef and she insisted she cook me more. This was a lovely gesture that I really appreciated and my brunch was lovely!
Love the atmosphere and the staff at Birdies! I had the avocado butter on toast with soy marinade egg. A special shout out to the chef, everything I've tasted there is amazing, their fresh salads are also really great.
Amazing food, friendly and sociable staff, affordable prices, great atmosphere, and fantastic service. I highly recommend coming to Birdie's as I have been here many times and have never been disappointed. Everyone is chilled out and will great you with a smile. I highly recommend trying everything if you can. But if you can't, a few things have topped my list. Those are the granola, chicken wrap, salad, the burger.
They have amazing coffee and drinks as well. The mocha is very tasty and topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. If that isn't your style then an americano or espresso will do you right. I would also try their bloody Mary. It is one of the best I have ever had.
Birdie's was a staple of mine during the time I lived in New Cross and I highly recommend everyone checking it out. Even if you are far from the area, it is worth the trek.
As you can imagine being a builder I've had quite a few breakfast in cafes. The "Birdie Breakfast " is one of the best breakfast I've had in a cafe. No joke. Quality ingredients and a little bit of magic from the chef. Still trying to figure what he puts on the mushrooms. Good price too.
The girlfriend loves it, friendly small cafe/restaurant vibe - not super
my cuppa-tea though. Hipstery vegan style food, menus a tad hit and miss for me but love it when you get the right one! :)
Really nice atmosphere, does good enough coffee and pretty decent food - including some nice veggie options. Only complaint is that I spent £2 on added halloumi and only got 1 slice!
Lovely little cafe in New Cross that serves yummy cakes, good coffee and a good tea selection along with a variety of other drinks. Has wi-fi, and really comfy sofa at the back. The fish finger sandwich is lovely!
Great coffee and even greater staff. Well definitely make a return
I've been out of London too long. The price of a small bottle of beer nearly made me faint. Didn't stop me drinking them dry of pilsner though. A great evening in a lovely intimate venue.
