Jidori Covent Garden - London - Photo album

Really lovely place, great yakitori, interesting sides and really fantastic service. The desserts were amazing!!! This is perhaps a weird comment but the place is really dimly lit and I felt the lighting was too dark. The only dish I felt like could use improvement was the sweet potato starter - i
Decent curry scotch eggs and salmon don (using Loch duart salmon!) but I was slightly disappointed with the Yakitori don. The name Jodori means local chicken and I was hoping they would put more effort on chicken dishesšŸ¤” I will try their evening menu and see if itā€™s any betteršŸ˜‹šŸŗ
Simple but yummy Japanese food that's so hard to find in London, well priced and lovely friendly service. Will try their karaoke dinner combo next time!
Best salmon sashimi donburi I have ever had! The lemonade is also very tasty and the lunch deal is great value. I really recommend this place and you can also book for karaoke.
Delicious Japanese food at very reasonable prices. Portions are perfect for sharing and I canā€™t wait to be back for the 4th time
It was simple dinner yet wonderful experience. I ordered plenty of food and portions were big enough for me, especially considering Japanese meal portions are usually smaller. Yakitori (ordered breast and mushrooms) was delicious, rice was as expected. I ordered sake as drink and ginger ice cream as
Cute and modern small Japanese restaurant. Lunch came in at Ā£10 with a drink, and was delicious. Vegetarian friendly. Friendly staff, will definitely return.
outstanding food, lovely environment and a frozen margarita to die for :) 1st visit from a new regular
Great central location for tasty yakitori, modern Japanese dishes and cocktails. Very friendly service and fun karaoke room!
Love this place. Come here weekly when Iā€™m too tired to cook and want a local treat. The staff are very friendly and the vibe is very relaxed - sometimes you share the table with strangers. The food is delicious although a little on the expensive side for the portions you receive. As it is an indepe
Amazing yakitori place :) great selection of chicken parts... Really tasty onsen tamago! šŸ‘šŸ»
Was fortunate to eat at the recent soft opening, post refurbishment. Cocktails were all delicious in their own right but also complimented the food. Food was, for the most part, absolutely delicious. Recommend the chicken sausage, the sashimi, the miso aubergine and the ice cream dessert is deliciou
I don't tend to visit Yakitori places outside of Japan but I was recommended to give this place a go. The staff were great and I like how airy the place looks. It's also very relaxed which is great. We went for the lunch bowls which we thought were great value. The portion sizes were good to.
Apparently (according to the national press) skewers are the new small plates. If that is indeed the case, this place is as fashionable as they come. We ate all manner of delightful items off a variety of sticks, as well as some delightful things that werenā€™t even skewered. Like all sharing places
