Great location, beside The Grand Union canal. Big place with plenty of outdoor seating.
We went for mid-week food and drinks.
Good selection of drinks.
The food was very good, I had whitebait to start and fish and chips for main.
Heads-off white bait, very nice.
The fish was huge, with crispy batter and the triple cooked chips were a treat.
Food service was not great. Surly server who brought out our mains before clearing our starters. When asked where she was going to put the plates she's just responded "they're hot".
Would recommend, just accept the fact your server may not be the happiest!
Bit out of the way...but worth a visit. Ceaser Salad was really good. Had a taste of the rump steak and that was good too. Ample serves. Lovely staff. The next time I'm in London I will make sure I come here again. To the staff and chef, thank you. Had a great time.
I was here today and stopped off for a quick bite to eat and a pint. Credit where credit is due, the service was second to none, and all the staff and management were so friendly and accommodating. Food was great as well. I would highly recommend if you are in the area! Will definitely be back.
Amazing hidden gem! Amazing beer garden. Great music! Old school classics (I'm in my 40s).... I've been here 3 times and absolutely love it every time. On the bank of the grand union canal and so it's great on a summers day.
Went down on the weekend with some friends and I can’t recommend this place enough, from the excellent service to the food and drinks! We enjoyed it in the beer garden especially and had a fantastic chicken and bacon sandwich that didn’t cost an arm and a leg! Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in London!
Amazing find! The pub is huge already and the garden literally never ends. Had a delicious burger and fish and chips. Both well cooked. Staff was lovely and attentive. I can’t remember our waiters name but he was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Will defo recommend
I was frankly blown away by the service, the food, the ambiance and what they did with the place and it's location. Brilliant. Aesthetically pleasing, it's got a fantastic garden and canal area to give an outdoor vibe and also a traditional looking pub section and another with a restaurant vibe. Something for everyone. The service again, was brilliant. Polite
Had the opportunity to pop into here for lunch.
I can only personally vouch for the burger and fries but if they are the benchmark upon which the menu rests then you will not be disappointed.
The bar snacks all sounded amazing but I was already full.
The staff are friendly, and the bar area is spotless.
Would heartily recommend the pub as a place for lunch if you are walking the towpath.
Amazing experience at Grand Junction. Firstly, on a summer day, having a beer and burger next to the canal was such a treat. On top of that live music was the icing on the cake. I was served by Moema and she was so attentive to us and her recommendations were amazing. Definitely coming back with more friends! PS: free parking huge plus!
Really love this place! Came here after ages of wanting. One of the hottest days of the year, the staff were so welcoming and lovely- great energy each and every one. The place is immaculate with beautiful outdoor and indoor spots. Really wonderful experience!
