I thought the coffee tasted amazing, the texture, the consistency was just right and creamy as was the coffee art; I absolutely loved the freshly squeezed juice. The staff are very friendly and i I really enjoyed Its rustic cosy vibe, its is just delightful. What a great place to take a break and relax.

Snide comments aside, I’m sure that in a more peaceful locale (i.e. outside zone 1/2 London), there is good food to be found.  Sometimes it just takes a bit more searching.  . On the other hand, perhaps you are searching for a place further away from the hustle and bustle of the city so that you can avoid people.  Perhaps it might have been those two sometime irritating friends of yours who were seemingly hellbent on poking fun at you.  Misdirection and distraction can only bring you so far.  Sometimes physical distance is required.  A little cafe in Hampstead would seem to do it.

My favourite place for a peaceful breakfast or a Sunday brunch with friends. Amazing food with only fresh ingredients and polite service. Also, you must try their Eggs Benedict and Velvet Cake.

Great place for teas and cakes. The teas are proper teas with dried fruit and tea leaves. It comes in a massive pot too. Really enjoyed their red velvet. Very moist and the cream cheese icing was delightful. The server was lovely. I didn’t get her name but I think she’s American. Very friendly young lady.

Lovely café - by far my favourite in the area. The selection of food is fantastic and everything I have eaten there has been delicious (breakfast, baked goods, evening dining). The staff are also really polite and welcoming. My only wish is that they were open until 17.30 instead of 17.00! They sometimes reopen later for dinner (at around 19.00) but it's a shame to miss an extra half hour of the daytime offering... **Update** They are now open until 17.30. Great news!

Lovely cafe with unique pastry selection and very tasty food. Lots of healthy options on the breakfast. I am a regular here and have always loved my experience. Try: Gluten free coconut and chocolate cake Try: Shakshuka or Avocado toast

Wow, great gluten free eating here in such a lovely and friendly setting. We are coming back for sure. Gluten free waffles were amazing as were the GF Sweet corn fritters. Took home one of the GF cake slices. Great service.

Loved this café! Their oat cappuccino is very decent & the cakes are amazing! Basically the cakes & the environment hooked me up there! Staff is very friendly too! MUST TRY : coconut & spinach cake!!! What an unbelievable creation! Their pastry chef is great, no doubt. The only downside is the temperature in there, could be much warmer to be fair… also I did not get excited with their soya cappuccino.

Visited England's Lane for breakfast. It seems to be a collaboration or a rebrand of bonjour brioche (next door) which is currently (as of 4 August) under renovation. They had the same cakes and a similar menu as bonjour brioche. I had the Persian omelette which was nice but nothing special. The coffees were nice and service was fairly quick given the restaurant was full (and people waiting outside). We had the spinach & coconut cake and it was dry. This was a major disappointment because their cakes are usually very very good. Perhaps it had been left out but we did order it before noon. The ambiance itself is pleasent but with wooden floors and low ceiling (when sitting on the second floor) the sound echos a lot. So perhaps a carpet would help absorb some of the sound. I would definitely come back and give this place another try!

My absolute favourite café. I have always loved their brunch (my favourites being the banana bread and the nargesi omelette), but last night we went for dinner. A truly sublime experience. Pleasant and perfectly attentive service, serene ambience, thoughtful visual touches from the stylish cutlery to the flickering of candles in pearly tealight holders dotted around on each table. And of course, the food. Just exquisite. Perfectly balanced flavours. Simple and tasteful presentation. The lentil houmous, cheese salad, roast cod escabeche, blackcurrant and caramel millefeuille, and peanut butter and chocolate mousse cake were divine. Could not recommend more.

Have tried most of the options in the menu a consistently delicious and enjoyable! Every visit to England’s Lane cafe feels like a special treat. The service is quick, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the space is elegantly designed and is bright/full of light. Would highly recommend.. the deserts are great, absolutely love their red velvet cake. Enjoy! (The French toast is a must)

Lovely little cafe! Dog friendly and the staff are really really welcoming. Prices are the usual for a nice London cafe, blueberry waffles cost me £10. The only thing, if anything, is that our food was slightly burnt. I think they were just rushing to serve people as it was the breakfast rush so I’m still happy!

Best cake I tried in a very long time. Unfortunately, it is available only on the weekends
