Absolutely love the Spielburger! It's got the American burger joint vibe down to a t, and the music is quite frankly PERFECT! Let's not even get started on the burgers...mouth-watering and unique to the pallet. A must try when you're in the Hampstead area, if you LOVE burgers as much as I do

Having just returned from dinner at the brand new burger joint in Hampstead, I can confidently say that Spielburger will do for burgers what Spielberg has done for movies; provide pretty darn good ones.
Before I get on to the burgers themselves, it is worth mentioning some important features of the restaurant. Firstly, we were quite taken by the good looks of the staff; whilst an attractive waiter may not necessitate good food, it certainly enhances the dining experience.
Secondly the choice of music; upbeat chillout music that encouraged a buzzy yet relaxed atmosphere.
Service was impeccable. Before I had even glanced at the menu our waiter was over to take out drink orders, but not in an aggressive way, in a "you look thirsty, let me help you with that" way. Our wine came quickly, although perhaps slightly too quickly as they first bottle they brought had already been drunk from, but this was hastily replaced. Food also came in good time.
We had classic burgers with extra cheese and guacamole. I had never had guacamole on a burger but thought this was an excellent addition. There's a special sauce between the lower bun and the meat which was tasty. The meat was very good, as were all burger components. For sides, we opted for communal sweet potato chips, truffle chips and coleslaw. I don't like truffles so the truffle chips would never have won me over, the coleslaw was slightly too heavy on the mayonnaise (and could easily have come from Tesco), but the sweet potato chips were good.
It came to £15 per person, for a burger, sides and wine, and we left feeling very satisfied. This is a superb addition to Hampstead High St, and at the end of the day, if it's good enough for Cara it's good enough for me...
First thing that I noticed when I walked in is the cool decoration, specially I like the walls painted with all those bricks...Anyway, I didn't go there to see walls but to try the house burger. I chose it with cheddar and as rare as possible, some fries with cheese on the side, and my friend the same burger but onion rings instead.
We both devoured the burger in minutes, it was so tasty with that house sauce and the strong beefy flavor. Sides were good as well but felt a bit small for the price. As we still had room for more, we shared an oreo milk shake that was incredible. Please don't miss it!!
The prompt service and nice staff made a great experience that I can't wait to repeat! (although is far from my home in the East)
Before we even get on to the topic of food, let's address the grade A punning Spielburger have gone for with the name - situated next door to the Everyman Cinema means that not only does the name Spielburger reach delicious new heights of word play, but that the restaurant would make a perfect dinner and a movie location.
I had the pulled pork (excellent) and my friend had the fish finger burger (not surprisingly, also excellent), both were served on perfect brioche buns. Also, not mentioned on the menu is the £5 before 5PM deal they do: your burger AND fries are a fiver before five, whereas after five, the prices are hiked right up.
The retro all American theme isn't overdone here, with hints to their theme coming out in Johnny Cash playing while we ate and the staff wearing cute Marvel t-shirts. My only complaint would be there was no dessert menu but I guess the answer would be a tall oreo ice-cream.
Spielburger is a popular burger joint in Hampstead that serves up some of the best burgers in London. The buns are soft and fluffy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the 1216 Burger, which comes with red Leicester cheese, bacon, fried potato scraps, and harissa mayo. It's the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and spicy.
In addition to the great burgers, Spielburger also has a wide variety of sides, including skin-on fries and sweet potato fries.
The service at Spielburger is attentive and friendly. The staff is always happy to make recommendations and answer questions. They also make sure that your food is cooked to your liking.
Overall, Spielburger is a great place to go for a delicious burger and fries. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it!
Delicious burger place very close to the Hampstead metro station. The burger options are quite interesting. I got the Chicken Burguer without jalapeño and with Guacamole. Best decision ever. Delicious. The truffle fries and onions rings were very good. The ketchup and mayo available are good quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was nice.
Place is great! Reece is an incredible host, lovely and genuine. We'd come back just for the service. The fried chicken burger is yum! Thanks Reece!
The Fired chicken (thigh) burger is one of the best they serve here. The beef burger was juicy too and nothing to complain about. Very limited options with the beverages also which are not really great. The ambience is very basic and alright. Can light up the area in a better way to add to the overall experience of the Amazing burgers they serve. £25 approx. for 2 with happy tummy.

A few yards away from the main drag with all the cute eateries in Hampstead there is this hamburger joint with a cute play on words - the local cinema is next door.
The menu and recipes are simple to choose from as they come w a handy calorie count. I got the House classic, great burger with dressing and salad and choice of cheese. The real potato chips w skin on md truffles were as good as the burger - and the coke in a glass bottle was served cold with ice. Only gripe was the lack of a mustard as sharp as the wit in the name of the joint. Service was attentive and then bill a not cheap but value for money all round.

Great burger. We ordered the 1216, and it has a really good combination of flavours. The meat was juicy, and the ingredient fresh. The guacamole and chips were ok but the Avocado was a bit flavourless, I think they were not ripped enough.
Excellent burgers! So tasty. We got beef and chicken and both were so good. It’s very hard to find good burger places so we’d definitely recommend
This place blew me away with a great burger at a very decent price, in ways I wasn't expecting. Been there 3 times now and the quality of my medium rare classic is always excellent, with a great cosy atmosphere and chill welcoming staff to complement. Will be enjoying it many more times in the future.
Quick and efficient service. Burgers were delicious, especially the chicken burger - moist and tender with generous patty offering. Had the makings of a five star review but the cheesy chips really let it down (as pictured). Music wasn't too loud either and it was a comfortable setting. Definitely recommend, hopefully cheesy chips improve but otherwise will be heading back!
