All 3 courses were totally delicious! Daniel the waiter was very attentive. It was a pleasure to attend this restaurant on their closing night, especially as I've been meaning to visit for ages. I'll definitely be visiting another branch in the future. Definitely 100% recommend.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I was one of a group of ten who had an early dinner as part of my friend's Stag do. The food was tasty and not too expensive. The staff were friendly, attentive and the atmosphere and decor was eclectic and comfortable. I would highly recommend Balans.

The portion was a bit small for the price. I had the salmon, eggs, avocado and toast breakfast. Only had one bit of toast, so even adding an extra slice would make it seem more generous. Otherwise the service was friendly, quite quick, and the food was nice. I was waiting for a shop to open so I went in to eat breakfast alone, and it didn't feel awkward to eat there alone because of the chilled atmosphere.

Really lovely food, good selection to choose from on the menu. Staff were helpful. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. The restaurant space itself is really well decorated and set out. There’s also plenty of seating outside if you’re lucky with the weather.

Great, attentive service. The staff were so kind to babies as well - they helped with doors, and offered warm water etc. The pancakes were lovely too. Fluffy and soft American style pancakes with lots of maple syrup!! Om nom nom...
There's a small step at the entrance. Once you are inside, there are enough space for multiple buggies if not crowded.

This is only the second time that I've been here, I can easily say that I will be coming back again. The food, the ambiance and accomodating wait staff is reason alone to come back.
I've not been to the Kensington High Street branch so that is next on my sights considering I work a few minutes down the road from that site.

Went for brunch with friends, nice place, friendly staff, quite busy, make sure to book. I had the burger, with bacon and chorizo and chips, very reasonable priced. Loved it.
