Cock & Lion - London - Photo album

The best: It's crew and the ambient. Great place to watch a match while having dinner and/or just enjoy a pint. Not the fanciest pub in London yet a pub I'll definitely go back. Update: the ambient keeps no being incredible but if you come can’t not order the hummus (a bit spicy ;) it goes along s
Nice service. Good beer. We stood outside and drank on a Thursday at about 5pm. The server collected the beer glasses left outside.
Went in late in the evening after a disappointing visit to a certain piano pub nearby. Staff were quick to serve and friendly. Pub had a nice traditional pub atmosphere but was closing soon so i wish I'd have just come here instead. Beer was about on par with other pubs in the area. Not very big ins
Small pub downstairs but a big function room upstairs with its own bar. The food was pretty good, I had the sausage and mash and the mustard mash was really tasty. The beer range is as expected for a central London pub. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely little pub. Just stopped in for a beer before going out for a meal. Would like to go at a different time to see how the atmosphere would change when the crowds came.
Bar snack available with ideal bud tasting real ale. Resturant on first floor with male amd female toilets on ground floor. Atmosheric decor.

Brilliant quirky old time pub. Staff are friendly and smart.
Nice place, good food, fast service, friendly staff, good prices. No tea or coffee, though.

Stopped in for a quick drink on a Saturday afternoon and were lucky to get a table as it was busy. The drinks and service were good.
The barmaid with the pink jumper ran us through a dozen samples until we settled into a great afternoon buzz.
Very cosy pub. Love the inscriptions on the wall. They're so cool!
We visited for lunch on a Monday lunch a week b4 Xmas. The atmosphere is good, and there are some great quotes around the walls linked to drinking. I had the morrocon aubergine dish which was fresh and spicy and my Husband had the burger which he said was tasty. The pub is just off Oxford Str
