Quite close to the Greek food you find in Greece and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and menu is very varied. Dishes were well presented, tasty and the portions generous. Not too sure about the grilled meatballs but everything else was fantastic. Would definitely go again.
Great for entertaining clients!. Came here after work with a colleague some time ago and we decided it was the perfect place to
entertain clients at the end of a project. Well, now it’s done, and we’re happy we listened to our
intuition! The staff at Yialousa were very open to our idea to have a casual, yet organized gathering,
and helped us choose how to set up our little party. We booked three tables round which to eat
Yialousa’s delicious kebabs served with fresh rice and salad and hit back a couple of beer, added to that were a few vegetarian treats, hummus and bread. It was just the place for the occasion. Our client appreciated the
celebration and were impressed by our choice of venue. The staff at Yialousa were cheerful, attentive,
and courteously gave us breathing space so we could discuss, another thing the Greeks are known
for. This Greek restaurant is a great place to enjoy a delectable meal while taking time to celebrate
achievements, it worked for us!
Our experience started with an outstanding service. Then the food came to the table. I can assure you that all the food was very fresh which is not very common these days with so many chain restaurants around. In my holidays in London, I had never imagined visiting the same restaurant three times in a raw. I am glad that I did. I greatly appreciate these kind of old fashion restaurants with very affordable prices.

I took my mum and son to Yialousa Greek restaurant yesterday. The experience and the food was wonderful.
We were all hungry when we arrived there and didn't know what to order. The lovely Greek waiter explained us the whole menu in a very friendly way and helped us choose the most adequate dishes for us.
I found the restaurant very family friendly as they attended all specific requests of my son.
Then the manager came and checked whether everything was ok and if my son liked the food.
I also want to mention that the Seabass I had was very fresh and testy. My mum's mixed grill was delicious too. The vegetable that was served with my fish was fresh too, which is not very usual in London restaurants. So this Greek restaurant definitely deserves to be applauded in terms of the freshness of the food.
I especially loved the baklava that we had at the end. It was the best baklava that I had in London. We will definitely go back there soon. I would like to thank the staff for all their attentions. I still remember the scrumptious baklava!!!!
We were walking through the area on our way to an evening venue and were looking for somewhere to eat that would be convenient and quick service. Yialousa looked quiet (it was still very early evening and filled up much more later) and the menu looked interesting so we took a chance. We weren't disappointed. The staff were really nice, very helpful and chatty without being over the top and considering this place has been around a long, long time in London terms, they didn't seem to have lost their interest in people. We had an excellent meal quickly served - tasty, well cooked, fresh and nicely presented, washed down with a super Greek red wine all at a very reasonable cost (for London). The décor was a little dated, but we hardly noticed this. All in all, very pleased and would certainly go there again if we were up that way.
I ate here one evening whilst on business. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was very delicious. This was not my first visit and on each occasion I was pleasantly pleased. I shall continue to enjoy whenever possible
Incredible!! The cheff was attending the customers, he oppened us the door and was very friendly and solicitous during the dinner. We ordered the tasting menu, because we didn´t know anything about greek food, and everithing was delicious and I couldn´t finish my food!! It was due to the quantity, because the quality was excellent!! This menu was 16 pound per person, and finally we paid 23 pounds per person, very cheap for this so well located restaurant!! If I were again in London, I would return, no doubt!!
Now, this restaurant looked beautiful, the colours in the restaurant really complimented each other and it was a great first impression. The food was delicious i order a chicken shish with humus and peta bread, the chicken was well cooked with the chips being cooked well and crispy, definitely one of the best greek restaurants in london, hugely recommended, will be back soon.
Very spacious restaurant with plenty of room in and out of the restaurant, the pictures created a vivid image of Cyprus and was a factor in making us feel at home, a particular mention to their pastries which seemed very fresh and tasted very good. I had Suvlacki which was a mixed grilled dish, which showed plenty of perfection. Alot of local greek people did come to the restaurant which proves that it must be a good restaurant to go to because it reminded them of home. will be back soon
The food was excellent. The waiters could use a little more training and the meal took longer than normal. However it is still a great place to eat.
just yesterday i wanted to take my mother, age of 72, to a local restaurant which she loved but hadn't been to in a few months. When we got there, we were immediately welcomed and seated despite the fact it was busy. my mother ordered the meze whilst I ordered Kleftico, and it seemed to have been the right choice because the Kleftico had melted in my mouth. My mother was amazed by the amount of food given for such a price . we went to try deserts and we both had the Baklava and tirramisu which we did not expect there to be. Our food had come in quick timing even though there was a table of 14 people next to us (I'm assuming they were greek). My mother loved it as that's what mattered
the price are more than enough but they have the best Risotto vegetarian I've had. I went on July/13 for the 1° time with some friends and went back on February/14 only to tasty it again! The best of their menu os rizzoto vegetarian!
We've enjoyed a lot. Very kind waiters and tasty food. We advice everyone to go to this place. A big hug to all the workers of Yialousa from Bilbao, Basque Country. See you soon! :)
Wow! The food was delicious and the staff could not have been nicer. Convenient location of you are staying at one of the many hotels in the area. I would be more than happy to eat here again
I have visited Yialousa before with my partner. I was on my own this time, that aside though the experience was once again very good. Chicken souvlaki and a Mythos beer. Very nice, I also had olives, bread,tzatziki and a cappucino. Two items I was not charged for. I will be back hopefully with Sue in the near future. It was strange looking at my photos of Santorini from last June we were there 23rd when the result was called. Many thanks to all staff! Friendly, prompt and some background music.
