Le Restaurant de PAUL Tower 42 is situated at the bottom of Tower 42 in the City of London. With a beautiful interior and fantastic choice of breakfast, Le Paul is a great venue for a breakfast with clients or a nice catch up with friends. Most amazing thick hot chocolate pictured above with granola, fresh strawberries, natural yoghurt and strawberry jam and a croissant. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was also great....

The City of London is a bit of a mystery to me, I’ve never worked in that part of town, when I did work centrally it was in the West End, and so any chance to get to know it better is always welcome. It certainly used to be the case that the City was pretty deserted in the evening after the post work drinks crowd had left for the day, and was definitely like a ghost town at the weekends apart from the odd tourist visiting Monument or St. Paul’s.   In fact most pubs didn’t bother to open at weekends.  Things have certainly changed, and there is a lively scene in the City now; with a wealth of bars and restaurants springing up.

My favorite french boulanger in UK, lots of different baguette sandwiches, delicious desserts and good choice of salad and occasional homemade soup. If you join their loyalty club, you get one free breakfast and free sandwich for every 10 bought. Perfect entrecôte yum.

One of the best locations and hideouts if you need to do some remote working or take a work call. Ambient, cosy and cool. Nice coffee and you have to be strong not to submit to ordering one of the patisserie items. Recommend as a work meeting point and a morning coffee.

Tucked away behind the escalator it’s worth finding. I think the tables need a bit more cleaning after becoming a wine bar at night. Coffee Good, Cake Good.

Absolutely wonderful warm coffee shop to pop, grab your fix and head to work in the early hours of the morning. Always fast, quick to order, have an awesome app to gain loyalty points. I always head here before the job for a cappa and sausage roll, good stuff guys!

It's my favourite restaurant in the city. I'm coming here at least twice per week. The menu is either good for a light lunch or a three course meal. I absolutely love the french onion soup, the minute steak and the creme brulee! The atmosphere is really important for me and I feel really welcome by all the staff.

Great spot for lunch. Food is great and so are the staff.

Very laid back venue, it has the significant advantage of combining quality pastries/coffee with alcohol options until late in the evening. To my knowledge this is a major differentiator in the area, ideal if you want to enjoy a catch up mid week after work without drinking. Highly recommended.
