Department Of Coffee And Social Affairs - London - Photo album

Fantastic coffee; the espresso blend is life-changing. Excellent location, and love the decor as well.
The food is ok but ridiculously overpriced. Good macchiato though. Golden Ticket beans (Ethiopian, Yirgacheffe).
One of my favourite coffee places in the area, the Department is a great place to go for excellent coffee. The flat whites are smooth and creamy, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nice place to escape to in the hustle and bustle of the area.
It deserves 5 stars even just for the name. Come on, "Department of Coffee and Social Affairs"? Just brilliant. Coffee is good like you would expect from a fake governmental office and the people working there nice and welcoming. Little gem off the main touristy busy spots around!
Delightfully nestled in a stunning courtyard, this beautiful cafe has character. Music is a tad loud; the corner area slightly secluded. Nevertheless, the coffee is delicately delicious and the service is exactly what it should be.
Absolute delight. In an area filled with amazing independent coffee shops, DPCS here has the friendliest staff and that makes just as much of a difference to my day as their delicious lattes. :P
Awesome coffee and a few gluten free options food wise. Nice place!
Coffee was good. Try the twisted chocolate thing, it's awesome
Passionate about coffee, and tucked away from the bustle of Covent Garden when you need a break
Awesome coffee - please bring this to the states!!
Great coffee, best to takeaway.
Great staff and proper coffee
Great cappuccino at a good price
